June 29, 2010 After having watched tribute after tribute and interview after interview with his family I felt it necessary to speak out about the one year anniversary of Michael Jackson's death.I wasn't shy about my opinions when Michael first passed away and I don't plan on changing that position now after a year. First, Michael's mother insists (along with his siblings and father), that there is a conspiracy in place that had some nefarious group plotting to kill Michael. Why anyone would plot to have Jackson killed is too ridiculous to address under normal circumstances and I usually wouldn't dignify such pap. Because I know what addicts are capable of I must discuss Katherine's Jackson's claim that Michael told her that someone wanted him dead. Often, an addict (and we all know that Michael was seriously addicted to all sorts of medication), is paranoid and believes that people are out to get them. Michael was no exception and he ranted and raved to those who believed whatever he told them without a thought to his state of mind. His mother believed what she wanted to believe because it was so much easier than facing the fact that her money making son was a junkie; plain and simple. Conrad Murray was a fool and the worst kind of concierge doctor who needed money so he did exactly what Michael wanted him to do. Michael Jackson was used to doctor shopping and he knew exactly who would give him what he wanted and how to secure the right person for the job. In this case it was a desperate, financially troubled man with a family to support who was about to lose his home and everything he owned. The thought of thousands of dollars per month for merely babysitting a celebrity probably sounded like a dream job to Murray...at first. There came a time that Dr. Murray realized that what he had signed up for was not what he was going to get and the he would have to compromise his Hippocratic oath to hold on to his job. It was the chance of a lifetime and the money was impossible to refuse so he took the job as physician to the biggest star on the planet. Along with that huge salary came perks like living in beautiful homes, traveling in private planes and visiting Europe on someone else's dime. I'm sure that when Michael requested all manner of prescription drugs Dr. Murray complied without hesitation. I have a feeling that he did hesitate when Michael threw the Propfol card at him and found himself in a dark, dark place. If he said, "No", to his famous client his dream job would go up in smoke and Michael would have found someone else to do the dirty deed just as he had in the past. This by no means excuses Murray and he should be held accountable for his actions. Michael Jackson was probably more familiar with Propofol than his doctor was. Most cardiologists don't deal with anesthetics and seldom if ever administer them themselves. Dr, Murray had probably never given anyone this drug prior to meeting Michal and was most likely shocked when he realized that Michael was such an expert on the drug. We know for a fact that Michael had approached other individuals about getting the drug and had been given the drug by another doctor in the past. The bottom line here is that I am sick and tired of the ever-greedy and misinformed Jackson clan and their lawsuits and proclamations about some sort of Kennedyesque conspiracy theory concerning Michaels death. There is no grassy knoll here, just an addict using all of his power and money to secure a drug that he both needed and desired. No one tried to kill Michael Jackson accept for Michael Jackson. No, this wasn't a suicide but a careless man deep in the throes of drug addiction and whose judgment was altered beyond recognition when it came to common sense. Michael Jackson was a death waiting to happen and the only thing that surprises me is that it took so long for it to occur. Michael's legacy is secure and his estate is benefiting from his legacy and that should make his family proud. Sadly, the Jackson's are never too proud to exploit their brother and son for all they can get and nothing has changed since he died a year ago. The Jackson's will not get the so-called "Justice" that they claim to want until they make as much money as possible on MJ's death. They tried when he was alive and failed because Michael got sick and tired of the lazy bunch of vultures trying to drain him and they will fail as a result of his death. Katherine's book will sell and even Joe's frivolous lawsuit may make him a few bucks but they will never achieve their true goals...to be as rich and famous as Michael Jackson was and still is. Without Michael to back them up they are just another family trying to milk the legacy of a more famous member of their clan. If anyone needs to let Michael rest in peace it is his insatiable family who's need for big money never ends no matter what the consequences. It hardly seems as if a year has passed since we got that Breaking News that Michael had died and his brother Jermaine is still ranting and raving about his burial place in Glendale. He won't rest until he has Michael entombed at Neverland Ranch with tourists lined up at the gate to pay a Disneyland type of entrance fee while he and his brothers are at the receiving end of those fees. Michael must be crying in heaven to see what has become of his children and how his family has been milking everything they can out of his untimely death. Photos of Blanket show a troubled youngster who is probably scared to death of his out of control cousins and his older brother and sister are helpless to do anything about it since Katherine makes all of the rules. Katherine...who is bordering on senility and way too old to be in charge of so many young children whose parents seem to be too busy to take care of them on their own.
I wish for only the best for Jackson's children because they are innocent...I can't say the same for the rest of that horrid clan of vultures.
