June 12, 2010 I suppose that watching all of the previews on Bravo.com spoiled some of the reunion show for me, but; I expected Andy Cohen to come off a little stronger where it concerned some of the behavior on this season of the show. He didn't and the women were true to form in how they responded to questions and comments. Jill Zarin denied, denied everything she was called out on and gave her standard answer to accusations, "Show me an example". You know Jill, not everyone keeps texts and emails forever and some people don't need to preserve evidence in order to defend themselves. Obviously, Jill Zarin does and she is at the ready to produce any messages that she deems worthy of proving that she is a victim. The "Get a hobby" voice mail that Bethenny sent to her is like someone else saving a favorite song on their IPod. She can play it for anyone at anytime to prove how mean Bethenny was. The problem with Jill Zarin is that she is so busy talking over everyone else that she never seems to hear what anyone else is saying to her. I found her to be extremely immature and insecure throughout the season and her running off-stage when the conversation was too close to the truth for her liking proved my point. Jill needs to grow up and take the advice that she and her family profess to be the experts on in the book that she published. The "Countess" was a fake and as high and mighty as ever (Dahling!!) and if I hear that song "Money can't buy you class" once more I will vomit. Auto-tone is a wondrous thing and without it the Countess would sound like a barking seal on a lonely beach. She is a huge troublemaker and although she denied it, she ran interference between Bethenny and Jill during the entire season and helped further the problems between them. LuAnn is no Countess. She's more like a wannabe socialite who married some sleazy pseudo royalty and believes her own publicity. Kelly Kilorean Bensimon is beyond stupid and very much in need of some sort of psychotropic medication. You could actually hang a vacant sign on her and it would be appropriate. There is obviously no one home and the lights are NOT on in Kelly's empty head. I feel so sorry for her kids having to live with such an idiot for a mother. Thank God that they probably go to good schools otherwise they would be left in the wilderness of her empty thoughts and lack of life's lessons. Ramona looks amazing for being somewhere in her 50's (she can't seem to remember exactly how old she really is). She looks like she's in her 30's and whatever she's doing to look that way I suggest she keep on doing it!! When Ramona comes off as the only sane person in the group you know you're in trouble. Alex tries hard to express herself and I admire her honesty even though she has a problem communicating her feelings when she gets upset. I honestly believe that Alex is a nice person and that being confrontational is foreign to her and that's why she stumbles, bumbles and breaks out in hives when she attempts express her innermost feelings. She has turned out to be my favorite and I hope that Simon makes more of an appearance in forthcoming seasons. He is a hoot and even with his strange taste in fashion, has the most common sense on the entire show. Bethenny was Bethenny and that means what you see is what you get. Her shrillness and hyperactive behavior can be annoying but at least she's not putting on an act. I watched her new show and thought that Jason (her new husband) was a brave soul for taking her on. The woman needs lots of couch time with her new shrink and I hope that she gets it soon before Jason wakes up one day and runs for the hills. Living with such a hyper person can be tiring even when you love them. There are two more parts to the reunion show to come and I can't wait to see if any of them actually take responsibility for their behavior. Somehow, I doubt it because I have a feeling that most of what they do when "The cameras are up" (as Jill likes to put it), is set up by producers and not even close to how they are in real life. At least I hope that they aren't like what is portrayed on the show in real life. Can you imagine running around with such nutty women? Usually, in any circle of friends there might be one or two eccentrics but here it's EVERYONE. There are times when I think that they recruited the cast members from Bellevue Hospital straight from the psychiatric wing. I wonder if they put them back there every night after the cameras stop filming?
See you for part two.....
