Feb. 18, 2010 Looking at the Obama presidency I can’t help wondering why any one would vote for the guy. Obviously he is inexperienced in grand leader ship. Seems to me he is trying out anything - hoping that it will work, if only for a while. He promises change and nothing has happens. As far as I can see he hasn’t put one piece of agenda into concrete form, neither in the house nor in the senate. Watching him between plays of the super bowl I feel a sense of embarrassment as he blames the Republicans. (Is not the purpose of the two party system to reflectict the views of different segments of the population.) The election of Obama is but the last of a long string of liberal screw ups. Under the Johnson administration we had the setting up of HEW and HUD resulting in the destruction of the traditional education system and its replacement with one designed to produce lunatics; the resulting chaos spawning the need for special clinics to combat sexually transmitted diseases and an increase insanity. All of this occurring as the US effort in Viet Nam was coming to a crashing end as we endured Susan Sontong stating publicly and in print that the North Vietnamese were not torturing US POW’s, who were in fact were treating them better than they treated themselves. Jane Fonda then went on to compound the idiocy by doing her bit on the NVA anti aircraft weapon declaring she wished she had a Yankee air pirate in her sights, finishing of the grand debacle by calling returning US POW’s liars as they declared they had been tortured by the North Vietnamese. The war ended and President Carter created the massive inflation, waffling for a year or so as Iranian revolutionaries held hostage US embassy staff, the rescue operation a complete screw up. A period of sanity under President Reagan and the defeat of the soviets. President Bush the first then goes on to slightly screw things up by invading Kuwait but not Iraq, leaving yet again another bunch who don’t trust the US (just like the Mujahedeen in Afghanistan after the defeat of the soviets). The exploits of President Clinton need no explanation, his strange exploits part of the cultural inheritance of the west. The idiocy continues as liberals issue dire warnings of the Earths immediate demise due to critical changes in the carbon make up which, although comparatively miniscule, just so happens to have reached a critical mass and about to end all life on this planet.(Why not just human life thereby halting the process). Same sex marriage now represents the pinnacle of liberal goofiness, any one suggesting that it is a psychiatric condition in danger if being arrested. It seems to me that the liberals are like the atheists, they annoy and annoy, restrict and restrict, in some cases becoming down right violent, much like a spoilt child allowed to do anything he or she pleases but afraid at the same time as they instinctively know they need guidance until their brain develops sufficiently in order to let them find their own way.
Why do liberals punish themselves by adapting positions they must know will eventually collapse?
