June 17, 2009 All civilizations eventually collapse; Assyria due to the conflict with Babylon, Babylon due to the rebellion of the Medes, who themselves were overthrown by the Persians. Greece succumbed to the superior Roman political system, which, like a many headed snake, was hard to defeat. Rome herself fell due to the inability of emperors to pass on the imperial purple lined toga without warfare, while the modern Europeans bled themselves to death with constant internal warfare. How will the US collapse? Will she suffer a military defeat leading to invasion? Doesn't seem likely to me.What about an economic melt down? Again unlikely as US business men still seem to be the worlds best. What seems more likely is that the US will collapse through an unwillingness to face in reality. At present the world is in a fight for survival as drugs work their way through the sinews of not only its citizens; but of its very institutions. Every day in every major city of the US newscasters document one or more murders, the majority involving minorities, the cause more likely than not drugs. What is really laughable is that this is sometimes followed by a commentary on how the world is about to be wiped out due to: global warming; climate change; the loss of the ozone layer etc. Personally the weather and the state of the ozone does not really affect me. Idiocy does. I fail to see how I am supposed to react when confronted by a chorus of losers bewailing the fact that they are denied Workman's Compensation, Family Benefits,liability suit money etc. supposedly due to racism, all egged on by a willing media as these peoples lives are being torn apart by drugs. Contributing to the worsening situation among minorities are the massive amounts of cash transferred from the accounts of well off and middle class whites to the drugs trade as their children indulge themselves in what they term 'harmless pleasures', knowing that even if caught the whole thing will probably be swept under the rug. These whites salve their consciences by professing concern for climate change, the seal hunt and the newly arrived socially chic concern, be it the water boarding of terrorists, camp Gitmo, George Bush or Governor Palin. There is not a shred of evidence that global warming and climate change is man made yet we now have a president of the most powerful country in the world castigating his own countrymen in front of the world for not doing enough to combat vague social and climate based crimes. He seems to be deliberately ignoring the ravages of drugs while certain elements in the rest of the world laughs, only too happy to see the previously superior Yankee meet his comeuppance. I cant help thinking that they, (the rest of the world) were complicit in the election of Obama, their false praise encouraging the Yankee to vote for this well meaning amateur. Already a quasi civil war is being fought in the US as one side consumes or contributes to the comsumtion of the product of Afghanistan's Helmand and Kandahar provinces thus providing guns, ammunition, bomb making materials, and expertise for use against US soldiers. One could argue that yes the great majority of users of illicit drugs in the US are well off whites but they after all only consume cannabis and what the heck, it is harmless, to which I would answer, it is the most dangerous of all drugs as its affects, which while not immediately apparent to the non user, allow them, the users, free reign to go about their business which in a lot of cases involves the imposition of a strange dysfunctional social order upon society thus making it helpless against its enemies, not only the internal ones, but also the external ones. It could be argued that our whole culture has been twisted by drugs which some would say is not a bad thing. One could also ask, where has a drug based culture been of any benefit to the host country? Not in the Middle East, not in Burma, not in Jamaica, not in Afghanistan. Drugs do nothing to the user but cause him or her to become a useless idiot, a condition the US now seems to be acquiring.
Regarding George Bush in all of this. He is rumoured to be a cured cocaine addict. There is nothing more the left hates than one of their own who renounces his faith. Could the vitriolic hatred poured upon this man and the automatic denunciation of anything he did be more a matter of apostasy than any well thought out geopolitical belief?
