July 15, 2009 Today would have been MJ's 51st birthday and the first of his planned 50 concert dates at the O2 Arena in London. As we all know by now, neither occasion was fated to take place. I have a source who tells me that some of the toxicology reports have been received by the Los Angeles Coroner's office and of course, the second autopsy results are known to the Jackson family. I have been informed that drugs will play a central role in what transpires next in the investigation into the death of Michael Jackson. The question is whether or not someone performed a very illegal procedure on Michael Jackson which contributed to his death. If that is the case than someone will be in deep, deep trouble. I have my suspicions that several other drugs will be found to have contributed to MJ's death so the investigation may cast an even wider net throughout the medical community. One thing seems to be going by the wayside; the responsibility that Michael himself had in contributing to his own death. After all, no matter how unethical a doctor may be and how illegal the method of obtaining the prescriptions necessary to kill Michael, he requested...demanded.....insisted that these drugs be provided to him. It will not be a thorough investigation nor a fair one unless Michael Jackson is considered to be one of the guilty parties in causing his demise. Michael the addict cannot be thrust aside just because he was talented or revered; not because he was an "icon" and not because he was loved by his fans. If the fact that Michael Jackson was in fact a serious drug addict is overlooked than everyone involved in investigating his death will be sending a terrible message to the world. Regarding the custody issues involving MJ's children, there is much speculation and a lot of bashing going on. Few real facts are known other than those trumpeted by The NY Post (known for printing erroneous information on occasion), and by unnamed sources claiming to be "close to the Jackson family". Should those children be raised by a family that could not wait even a month to begin grabbing for the brass ring that Michael left in his wake? Interviews with known unreliable British tabloid newspapers to the tune of a quarter million dollars? An interview and video given by Michael's parents also for close to a quarter million dollars? A father who is already planning to groom his innocent grandchildren to go on tour as "The Jackson Three"? Katherine Jackson already cares for some of the Jackson cousins and when you add Michael's three kids to the mix you get an awful lot of responsibility for a 79 year old woman no matter how many care givers are assisting her. She will have sole legal and physical responsibility for those children. Is she really up to the task of raising two pre-teens and a small boy? Will she stop Joe from exploiting them when she could not or would not do so with their father? Debbie Rowe (the biological mother of the two oldest kids) is an unknown factor. Is she a money grubber as the newspapers and tabloid cable shows insist that she is or is she a worried mother who meant for Michael to raise her children and not the father that he disliked, feared and spoke so strongly about as being an abuser? I'm not sure but I am sure of this, the Judge needs to appoint a Guardian Ad Litem who's sole purpose will be to look after the best interests of the children both financially, physically and emotionally. Someone who will prevent the Joe Jackson's of the world from exploiting them and anyone else who comes forth to claim them for the wrong reasons. Those children have a very abnormal and weird history as it is and making sure that their future is less filled with mystery and strife will be a very important job. I hope that the Judge sees it that way and protects them. I have no faith that the Jackson family will do right by those kids no matter what they claim. Their past and current actions speak loud and clear and I for one hope that they do not retain permanent custody.
Next week we will know a lot more and there will even more salacious news coverage......Michael Jackson sold newspapers when he was alive and he is selling them even more now that he is deceased.
