Aug. 4, 2009 On The Nancy Grace show last night (August 3, 2009), a home video was shown of Michael Jackson and his two oldest children celebrating his daughter's birthday. At one point Paris speaks the exact words that she spoke at the memorial service for her father. This video was supposedly recorded in 2002. Both children are seen singing and praising their father which is pretty typical of a home video featuring small kids. What was not normal were some of the words that the children recited. At one point both children sing the melody to "You Are My Sunshine" with the words "Please don't take my Daddy away". I found this chilling and staged and weird. Most children at that young age aren't worried that their parents are going to be "taken away". Unless the parent in question is sick, why would a couple of children under the age of four be worried about losing that parent? Another disturbing incident that happened was when a guest named Firpo (sic) Carr, who claims to be a friend and spokesman for the Jackson family stated that Michael threw the kids the birthday party to show them what it was like to experience a "pagan" event and would later explain to them that it was indeed a "pagan" ritual. Considering that Michael stopped practicing his Jehovah's Witness religion for a long time and that his spiritual advisors were both a Rabbi and Deepak Chopra, I doubt that Michael was attempting to teach his children that birthday parties are "pagan" rituals. Mr. Carr, the so-called spokesman, also stated that it was not Michael's idea to have the children wear masks when they went out in public, but that of Debbie Rowe (their bio mother). Really? I viewed the children wearing masks up until a year ago and Debbie Rowe had long been out of the picture. Debbie "gave the children to Michael as a gift" in her own words and departed the scene. Suddenly, Michael was following her edicts on how to raise the children? I doubt that very much. I kept hoping that she was watching the show and would call in and call out Mr. Carr for his apparent lies. Why is it that almost everyone associated with Michael Jackson is shady or weird or tends to lie constantly? Why is it that all of these so-called BFF's can now speak words directly from Michael's mouth now that Michael can no longer dispute what they say? It stands to reason that Michael Jackson, who no one can deny was a strange looking and acting individual, surrounded himself with other strange individuals and it appears that since his death, they are coming out of the woodwork like termites in a frenzy? Michael was mostly surrounded by enablers and hangers-on who basked in the glow of his fame and notoriety...certainly Mr. Carr was no different. I don't believe for one moment that Michael recently called Firpo to tell him to be sure and educate his kids in the ways of the Jehovah's Witness religion. If nothing else, Michael Jackson was protective of his kids to the point of cutting them off from almost everyone else. There were no other children at the video taped birthday party and the kids were home schooled. I even doubt that Michael's children knew their cousins, whom they now live with and are exposed too on a regular basis. I saw no other children their ages sitting with them at Michael's memorial service.......they were surrounded by adults. Perhaps the cousins were sitting farther back, but they were not side by side with Prince, Paris or Blanket. I do not agree with the judge granting full legal and physical custody to Katherine Jackson and have every reason to believe that Joe Jackson will have an influence over those kids. I have no reason to believe that Katherine now has the backbone to stop Joe Jackson from exploiting her grandchildren anymore than she had the power to stop Joe from exploiting her children when they were young. NO Guardian Ad Litem was appointed to protect the interests of those children and that is a HUGE MISTAKE. Considering the history of the Jackson clan, those children definitely need protection from that greedy, lying bunch of vultures. I can only hope that someone, somewhere can make sure that those kids are not taken advantage of. They had no intention of following the wishes of Michael Jackson which was evidenced by both Jermaine and Joe insisting that Michael's final resting place be at the very spot that Michael came to hate and never returned to in life...Neverland. They saw "Graceland" written all over it and that means money, money, money. Joe Jackson may still be planning to take his boys on the road to sing with a hologram of Michael and that would mean money, money, money (at least until people saw what a farce that would be). The first thing that Katherine asked for was money and the second thing was that she be an Administrator of the estate even though that was not Michael's wish either. Does anyone in that family really care about what Michael wanted? Will anyone in that family really care about three small children who are not biologically related to any of them and only represent money, money and more money. If this sounds like an angry article you would be correct in assuming that I am totally pissed off and that the staged and sad video of those exploited and now abandoned children caused me to write this. They have apparently no history with either of their biological parents and have lost the only parent they knew. Now they are at the mercy of the Jackson family and for that reason I am angry and disgusted.
I can only hope that somewhere, someone who has the standing to help those kids comes forward and does so before we read down the road that they too are dead of a drug over-dose or some other tragic ending that often befalls human beings who don't really know who they are or where they came from.
