Oct. 31, 2008 There are those who have called Barack Obama “Messiah”, but Mr. Obama is anything but messianic. Any true Christian will tell you that the only real Messiah is Jesus Christ the Righteous, the Only Son of God. One interesting aspect of the True Messiah Jesus is that he never gave up on his friends. Even to the end he would have taken Judas to his bosom and accepted Judas with all his faults and foibles. Judas chose to walk away from his only possible salvation, but that’s another story. This is about a “Google” search. Today’s headline was: “Obama Distances Himself From ACORN, Calls Controversy a Distraction” (FOXNEWS.com) I remembered reading other articles about Obama’s penchant for “distancing” himself from anything that might tarnish his messianic reputation with anything less than the perceived perfection of “The One”. My “Google” brought back one million, seven hundred thousand hits for “Barack Obama distanced himself”. Granted; probably one million of these examined his distance from the Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s former racist pastor whose theology Obama enjoyed for 20 or so years. But it was interesting to see just how many separate “distancing” circumstances were mentioned just on the first 5 pages “Google” returned from the search. Of course Obama must distance himself from ACORN. The criminality being displayed by this arm of the democrat party is becoming a major open book of voter fraud tactics that would make Hugo Chavez and Robert Mugabe green with envy! Reports of registrations for the Dallas Cowboys, Mickey Mouse and seven-year-old girls on top of registering the same individuals up to 75 times are becoming normal over 13 states ACORN is proudly operating in. These instances are causing the questioning of all ACORN registrants and Obama’s deep association and financial support for ACORN’s operations. The next report cited below from the “TIMES ONLINE” begins: Barack Obama was forced to distance himself yesterday from his former pastor and religious mentor, who has made racially charged criticisms of Hillary Clinton and suggested that the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, showed that “ America ’s chickens are coming home to roost”. As I said, this is only probably one of a million reports citing Jeremiah Wright, but with good cause. Obama sat in this man’s church for 20 years and was bringing up his daughters under the “Black Liberation Theology” of a racist clergyman. Even if Obama wasn’t in any way influenced by the man’s bigotry against whites, what of his young and very impressionable daughters? Neither of Obama’s children is 20 years old, so they’ve been listening to such racial bigotry all their young lives. It is difficult to think there was no influence whatsoever. The third article below cites another person Obama had to distance himself from: Obama Distances Himself from VP Vetters, By Perry Bacon Jr. which began: “Pressed on the involvement of one of the members of his vice-presidential search committee with a controversial mortgage company, Sen. Barack Obama said of the people helping him find a running mate that they are serving in a "volunteer, unpaid position" and "these aren't folks who are working for me."…The Wall Street Journal reported this weekend that Jim Johnson, an Obama fundraiser and backer, received $7 million in loans from Countrywide, a mortgage firm Obama blasted in March for giving its executives huge bonuses in the midst of the home foreclosure crisis.” Barack Obama is the second highest grossing political figure for campaign contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac. Countrywide was a related mortgage firm that assisted Senator Chris Dodd (D) in a great deal for a house. Well, Obama’s friend Jim Johnson got himself a sweetheart deal too. Sometimes it pays to volunteer I guess. Then there was Father Pfleger who had to be thrown under the bus for his “divisive” comments about Hillary Clinton. Obama couldn’t catch a religious break, especially when we found out one of Father Pfleger’s best buddies was Luis Farrakhan. Then Obama had to distance himself from a fellow who had renounced his homosexuality. Obama is a full supporter of homosexuality and considers the “struggle” of homosexuals for acceptance in the black community equal to that of the struggle of blacks for equal rights in the white community. There is no quest that Obama had to distance himself from Luis Farrakhan. The man is a liar, and anti-Semite and a racist. Luis and Jeremiah and Father Pfleger are all cut from the same whole cloth. But, of course, none of what any of these men stood for or spoke of had any influence on Barack Obama, or his wife or children. The next five articles cited tell us that Obama had to distance himself from LUDACRIS, Hillary Clinton, former Secretary of State Zbigniew Brzezinski, Tony Rezko and Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. He is still battling the distance between himself and Former Domestic terrorist, now educational terrorist William Ayers. At this rate poor Barack won’t have a friend left in the world. Not to fear. Mr. Obama still has friends in the United States Congress. He has Harry Reid to discuss shady land deals with. He has Nancy Pelosi with which to discuss friendship with Syrian terrorists. He has Jack Murtha and Dick Durbin with which to condemn the actions of the United States military. He has John Conyers with which he can discuss free babysitting. He can chew the fat with tax cheat Charles Rangel. He can discuss old obstructionist times on the Senate Banking Committee with his gay buddy Barney Frank. He can talk to Democratic U.S. Rep. Tim Mahoney about what not to do when trying to keep multiple affairs secret from a wife and children. He may want to discuss drunk driving with the Congressional Kennedy Clan or he may ask Rep. Jefferson the best type of freezer to hide bribery cash in. There is a whole host of friends Obama can tap. He doesn’t really need the support of crooks like Rezko, terrorists like Ayers or racists like Wright, Pfleger or Farrakhan. Truly, after reading all the articles cited one can understand why Obama is shoving so many people under the bus. He’s the “Messiah”. He’s the chosen “One”. He is “DA MAN!” Read and learn. But remember there are more than one million items where Obama “distances himself” from those once considered friends and allies. I believe he considers those who vote for him friends and allies too.
