Slavery is defined (by Wikipedia) as, "a legal institution under which a person is compelled to work for another". Let me state this again. A legal institution under which a person is compelled to work for another. Ok? Got it so far? Let me throw another Wikipedia definition at you. This one is for "wealth redistribution". It states,"The transfer of wealth can occur in various ways. Some methods for transferring wealth are voluntary transfers from those who have it to those who do not. Other methods involve forcibly removing the wealth from those who have it and redistributing it to those who do not.All political and economic systems facilitate the redistribution of wealth including Communism, Socialism, and Capitalism. Can any of you guess which systems are voluntary? Lets cut to the chase, shall we? Thanks, in part, to a plumber named Joe, Obama slipped. He erred. He made a boo-boo. He did what most of the news journalists have either been covering up or ignoring for the past two years. He spoke the truth. Just one time, and that is all it took. Lets take another look at those pesky little definitions again, ok? Barack Obama wants to take your money, involuntarily, and give it to someone else. He wants to take more of your money and "redistribute" it to people who haven’t even paid any taxes! In other words, he is going to compel you to work for another. This is not about race. This is not about gender. This is the ultimate in class warfare. And he admitted it. A simple man, a vet, a father, a man who gets up every morning and goes to work, a guy named Joe asked a simple question and got an answer that may have just taken down a dynasty. At least I hope so. It may take some time for all of this to sink in but I really have to have faith in the people of this great nation. Obama is wrong for this country. The fact that he was even elected for the Illinois State Senate shows that there is inherent freedom in our country. He is a graduate from Harvard for goodness sake! He has to know what he is doing. So. If we take away the possibility that he is a stark raving moron, then all we have left is the fact that he wants to fundamentally change America. And that can’t happen. We won’t allow it. Obama is, should, be a reminder of what can happen if we aren’t diligent. If we aren’t forever on guard, because freedom isn’t something that can be legislated or regulated for the senate or the supreme court. Freedom is much more than a word. It’s a belief as fundamental and as basic and as old as time. It is something to be cherished and lauded. I’m glad that Obama ran for the presidency. I’m glad he came so close. It should be a reminder for all Americans that we should hold something like freedom as fragile as the gossamer wings of a butterfly and as strong as tempered steel.
