Nov. 30, 2008 I have previously discussed both the Natalee Holloway
disappearance and the Caylee Anthony disappearance but some new information has
surfaced since my last article.
Regarding the Anthony case; I have been struggling for a
long time with the urge to withhold any feelings of empathy for Caylee's
grandmother, Cindy Anthony since I considered her to be a victim. Lately it has
come to light that Cindy Anthony has lied to federal investigators by
withholding evidence that they requested and she has made many public comments
that are obviously spoken in order to protect her daughter Casey.
I believe that Cindy first tampered with evidence and
attempted to subvert the investigation into what happened to her granddaughter
when she washed a pair of Casey's pants that she found in a car that she herself
admitted, reeked of death. She and her husband are both in the position to
recognize that odor since they are a nurse and a former detective. Now it has
come out that when the FBI asked her specifically for Caylee's hairbrush so they
could make DNA comparisons, she gave them a brush with a mixed sample which
included her daughter Casey's hair. Without a root, hair can only be tested for
mitochondrial DNA which can include any member of a family related to the
mother. There may have been hair with a root attached if Cindy had given the FBI
the correct brush that ONLY Caylee used. At the very least, it would have caused
less confusion.
Casey Anthony is a pathological liar and it appears that
she learned this behavior from her mother who also appears to lie at the drop of
a hat and without any thought to the consequences of her behavior.
It is my opinion that the only victims in this sad case
are the child who is missing and assumed dead and George Anthony who appears to
be under the thumb of his lying wife.
Regarding the Holloway case, it has come to light that
Joran confessed yet again to causing Natalee's disappearance. This time he
claims that he sold Natalee to a mysterious stranger for approximately
$10,000.00 and that his father, Paulus was aware of this activity. He also
claimed that local officials in law enforcement on Aruba were paid off by
Paulus. Joran has since recanted his latest confession.
It is impossible to know exactly what happened to Natalee
since once again we are dealing with a pathological liar.
Here is what I believe:
Caylee Anthony Case:
The child was killed either on purpose or accidentally and
then hidden by her mother Casey. Her Grandmother knows that this is most likely
the case and is trying to protect her daughter. I will be shocked if a body is
ever found.
Natalee Holloway:
Natalee was murdered or sold by Joran van der Sloot with
the full knowledge of his father and I will be shocked if her body (alive or
dead) is ever found.
Two cases where pathological liars and their enablers are
involved and two cases that have grabbed the public's attention.
Two cases where parents are covering up the deeds of their
children.
In my opinion, the perpetrators and the enablers are
guilty of crimes and should be punished.
