I Will NOT "Roll Over"

By David Allen Jared
Nov. 10, 2008

President-elect Barack Hussein Obama is a done deal.  He was elected by the 53% of the electorate that is either black, Hispanic, riddled with "white guilt" or simply brain-dead.  Anyone who's able to think logically should know that, were he a young white Senator with identical lack of experience and VERY questionable, radical leftist associations throughout his political career, he would never have been nominated--let alone elected.  Therefore, his successful ascension to the White House on January 20th is a direct result of his race...period.

That said, as a conservative, I'm considering him to be MY President.  He'll not be thought of by conservatives as black, white or orange polka-dotted.  He'll be thought of as the radical leftist that he really is and much of what he proposes to do to us will be opposed by conservatives on that basis alone.  I have no doubt that I'll be one of those opposing him when I think he's wrong.   Given his past, I strongly suspect that he'll be wrong 99% of the time, but I'm willing to give him a chance to be the "centrist" that he CLAIMED to be during the campaign, even though we KNEW that he was hiding his real political philosophy behind that nonsense of "Hope" and "Change" that he never really defined.  They were, and are, merely platitudes that he used to help him leapfrog his way into the Oval Office

The American left thinks they now have a "mandate" to do whatever they want.   They're wrong.  I intend to give Obama precisely the respect he merits.  He's not starting out too well.  Not even in office yet and he's already held a press conference in which he told a blatant lie.  He said that Nancy Reagan held "seances" in the White House.  She did not.  In fact, it was his "pal" Hillary Clinton who held a seance there.  Remember her claiming to have "channeled" Eleanor Roosevelt?  Nancy Reagan was reported (not proven) to have consulted an astrologer, which most certainly is NOT the same thing as holding a "seance."  By in large, the press again let Obama get away with it without challenge.  That doesn't bode well for OUR future.  If the press continues to help this man hide who and what he is from the public, we're entering an era of unprecedented ignorance on the part of those who are charged with the responsibility of making the critical decisions--the voters.

Apparently, the era has already begun.  Otherwise, we'd now be talking about "President-elect John S. McCain."  Don't get me wrong.  I'm not in the least bitter about the election.  I never thought John McCain was the right man for the job anyway, though he was far and away the better qualified of the two major candidates, and I know that Obama as "President" will be an unmitigated disaster...especially with the Congress we've handed him to work with.  The things I predicted in my last post here are nearly a dead-bang certainty so hide what money you can and don't buy any guns from a licensed dealer who'll be duty-bound to keep a permanent record of the transaction or the gun-grabbers will know precisely where to go to take them away from you when the time comes.  Lay in a supply of ammunition, too, because that's going to be one of the first things the left goes after, either by taxing it out of reach to the average person or by banning it outright.

I intend to be a good citizen and obey the law.  I will NOT roll over and play dead for these people just because they've won one election, though.  I intend to fight them tooth and toenail when they are wrong, which I suspect is going to be most of the time.  I will NOT obey the laws they'll try to pass which are obviously contrary to both the letter and the spirit of the U.S. Constitution.  I will NOT "register" my guns (if I have any, that is) and I will NOT give up my right to spout off just because I may be saying things in opposition to "official government policy."  Don't you either.
