When I'm wrong, I admit it.  I was wrong about this presidential election.  There ARE more morons in the United States than even I suspected--by latest count at this hour on election night, some 55 million of 'em.

 

How ANY American can vote for someone who has NO experience and about whom we know virtually NOTHING--except that he's a socialist at best and a Marxist at worst in both his voting record and as much of his true philosophy that he's allowed to sneak out into the public domain--is beyond understanding.   

 

THIS is what we have to look forward to:

 

1--Tax increases for virtually EVERYONE who works.  Don't believe it?  Wait until this guy and Congress allow the Bush tax cuts to expire in 2010.  Doing away with a tax cut is PRECISELY the same thing as raising taxes.  You'll pay more in taxes after the Bush cuts expire than you are paying today.  If you're in the top 5% of income earners, you'll see your top marginal rate go up 4.5% as soon as that occurs.  Take that to the bank!  Secondly, if you make more than $90K per year, you'll see a 15% increase in FICA taxes, too, because he's TOLD us that he'll lift the cap on FICA taxes and a left-wing-controlled Congress will no doubt go along with him.

 

2--Higher gasoline and fuel costs of all sorts.  He's promised to raise the federal taxes on gasoline, diesel fuel and heating oil, on coal, coke fuel and natural gas.  For some reason, this bugwit believes that taxing these vital commodities means that they'll become "more affordable" or that we'll voluntarily quit using them to save money.  What it means is that we're all going to be FORCED to lower our standards of living....period.

 

3--The destruction of several major industries through excessive regulation or the FORCING of these industries to move off-shore for the same reason, costing Americans tens of thousands, if not millions, of jobs. 

 

4--The packing of the U.S. Supreme Court with FAR-left ideologues who'll literally destroy the greatest governing document ever conceived by mankind--the U.S. Constitution...and we'll be stuck with them for at least another generation, the end of which will be too far off for us to ever be able to recover our principles and direction.

 

5--The institution of a "command economy" with government bureaucrats deciding how much wheat, corn, methanol "stocks," soybeans, grain sorghum, pork, beef, chicken and fish we "need" and allocating the production of these commodities accordingly.  Gone will be most vestiges of the free market.  It won't happen immediately, but it WILL come to pass within the next several years unless we can somehow manage to find a means to stop it.

 

6--The end of free speech as we know it will occur within Obama's first year with the institution of the grossly-misnamed "Fairness Doctrine" which he and a compliant Congress will limit to talk radio and any TV programming that they deem "biased" because it opposes their far-left, socialistic agenda.

 

7--Rampant corruption with sweetheart deals and massive, tax-funded pork for those "favored" groups like the ultra-liberal 527's, ACORN, The Nation of Islam, far left blogs and the other groups who helped this night occur through voter intimidation, vote suppression, fraudulent registrations and illegal voting...all of which occurred during this election cycle on a truly massive scale. 

 

8--A Presidential cabinet that looks like a meeting of the Students for a Democratic Society from the 1960's, because this administration will brook no opposition of any sort.

 

9--The addition of thousands of IRS auditors who will be sent out to audit every group, organization or individual who dares to oppose this administration in any way.

 

10--The complete loss of any future foreign policy credibility as we watch the pull-out of Iraq and Afghanistan and submission to Islamic terrorists.

 

11--The systematic violation of the 2nd Amendment with the eventual aim of confiscation of privately-owned firearms.  If you've got any, you'd better be prepared to hide them well, along with stockpiles of ammunition because an Obama administration will begin the process of first outlawing them piecemeal and then confiscating them wholesale along with banning their manufacture and banning the manufacture and sale of ammunition.

 

In short, those of you who caused tonight's disaster will, I hope, live long enough to see the destruction of the greatest nation the Earth's ever seen and it's transformation into virtual third-world status, ripe for the picking by any tin-pot dictator who takes it into his head to try.  Thankfully, I won't live long enough to see that come to pass since I'm well into my late 60's now and it'll take some years yet to occur.  The only hope that remains for us is a complete takeover of Congress by REAL conservatives in 2010 and maybe even THAT will be too late.
