Jan. 12, 2008 So, the march to the White House begins and who will eventually go in? I have had cause to severally discuss this issue with pundits and the very real possibilty that the interor decorators will not only be doing a new face job for the Oval office but maybe even the exterior... But then now puns aside and the the possiblity that Obama does does make it, Africa not the least should not expect anything new from that neck of the woods ... heck even the Blacks in America are voting the other way, Obamas roots are traceable they say. I recently had cause to tell a fellow discussant the other day most blacks from the continent of the 'mother land' suddenly experience a certain disconnect{ "huh Afri-what ..."} and do not write home anymore, do not answer e-mails no more and begin to suspect that every phone from the other end is about request for money, American money... I once read somewhere, authoratatively that no black man, no woman and no Jew would ever occupy the White House. So how much is a postur{ing} by Obama, By Hilary? Does that mean Americans wold rathter swallow the bitter pill and put 'war-monger' McCain or in the White House or whatever permutation polls would unearth? Would the double minded Americans be content to live with - for 4 years and posssibly another 4 years, mind you with the man's wife there might be a possibility of a Lew Moninsky scandal... We watch, we wait. But then how about the paradigm shift of the Milienium lets put the black man in.
