Senator Obama has chosen to employ the Sergeat Schultz strategy when asked about the ongoing scandals coming to light in the Illinois governor's office---"I know NOTHING!"  Essentially, and broken down to its core, that's his "findings" of his internal "investigation" into his campaign's involvement in the scandal in which Governor Blogojevich's apparently attempted to auction off Obama's soon-to-be-vacant Senate seat to the highest bidder--an effort which was cut short by the federal grand jury's indictments.  While the so-called "mainstream media" can be relied upon to buy this "explanation" hook, line and sinker, those of us still capable of independent thought aren't falling for it.

 

It's been a source of constant wonderment to me how American voters, the press and others, many with their noses firmly ensconced 3/4ths of the way up Obama's posterior, can cling to the obvious fiction that a man like Obama could surround himself for at least the last 20 years with some of the vilest of socialist radicals, racists and even anarchists and remain unaffected by those associations himself.  The old adage, "By one's companions you shall be known," contains more than a mere grain of truth.  What possible reason would a staunch patriot have for hanging out with proven traitors and maintaining that association for literally years?  What reason would a "man of inclusion and tolerance" have for attending the church of an obvious racist, listening to his vile, radical, anti-white, anti-Israel rantings and contributing money to his support for 20 years and think of him as "an uncle and dear friend?"  What reason would an "honest man" have for being friends with and a political supporter of a slumlord proven to be a real estate crook and fraud?  For that matter, how could a real "man of faith" have possibly voted AGAINST a bill that would merely have required hospitals to provide minimum care to babies who somehow managed to survive the barberous practice of induced abortion despite the abortionist's best efforts to kill them?  Obama has done ALL these things but I'll bet my last dollar that half of the country doesn't have a clue about any of them--in large measure because the leftist "mainstream media" chose to virtually ignore them during the campaign in order to keep the electorate as ignorant of the man as possible.

 

The result will no doubt be that we're about to wind up with the most radical leftist, innately corrupt administration in a century--at least.  Probably even more corrupt than the Clinton administration was and almost certainly more incompetent than the Carter administration.  For those of you who are "true believers," prepare yourselves for an unprecedented level of disapointment and disillusionment.  For those of you who are still capable of rational thought and are NOT true believers, prepare your households, personal possessions, finances and families for seige by confiscatory tax policy, an anti-2nd Amendment barrage of disarmament bills and a wild expansion of the "entitlement" culture of the left.  The worst part is that there's not much we can do about it for the next two years until the next Congress is elected that'll be inclined to put the brakes on Obama's far-left agenda.  All we can really do is scream like banshees whenever they try any of this stuff on us.  Maybe enough people will be paying attention that even Democrats will complain.  I realize that's a faint hope, but I don't intend to give up just yet.
