Sept. 25, 2007 Another liberal heard from again. This Gelbart guy is amazing. I've vowed not to answer any more of his e-mails unless and until he learns to think with his brain instead of his gonads. Like most liberals, he thinks that if he "feels" something, that makes it so, and because Google didn't help him find what he was looking for, it just must not exist. Amazing! I'm beginning to believe that this is some kid with nothing better to do that spout the stupidities he sees in the mainstream media "news" shows, in the movies and probably gets spoon-fed by the indoctrination that passes for public education these days. From his comments, he probably wasn't old enough in 1991 to remember that Saddam DID dispatch his few remaining fighters to Iran to keep us from destroying them, too. He maybe even wasn't old enough to remember seeing those rockets with chemical warheads found under the floorboards of a barn shortly after the resumption of hostilities in Iraq, the saran gas IED used a couple of years ago in Fallujah, the tons of weapons-grade uranium seized by coalition forces late in 2003, or those two suspected chemical-weapons manufacturing trucks found fleeing Baghdad. He probably doesn't recall the satellite pictures of that convoy of trucks and SUV's racing for and crossing the Syrian border a couple of days before the war was resumed in 2003. He probably also doesn't remember that General Franks was privately told by BOTH the King of Jordan and Egyptian President that that they KNEW Saddam had stockpiles of chemical and biological weaponry just before the 2003 resumption of hostilities, and he has no explanation why hundreds of chemical protective suits were found hidden in strategic spots along the road to Baghdad--one bunch in a school. Since the U.S. had already told Saddam that we wouldn't use WMD's on HIM unless he used them against us, the suits were meant for HIS troops to wear to protect them from his own chemical/biological weapons which I have no doubt he intended to use against us until the very last minute. He is even reported to have told one of his jailers that, if he'd known the fate that awaited him personally, he WOULD have "gassed them" meaning US. He probably doesn't recall that every intelligence agency on the planet said Saddam had WMD stockpiles that had not been found by the "inspectors." Of course, he and others on the left, apparently know more than anyone else about the subject since large stockpiles weren't found. Oh, I suppose we could try digging up a country the size of the State of California until we DID find 'em, or we could invade Syria and likely find them in Syrian hands now, but I suspect even that wouldn't statisfy either this guy or anyone else on the left. Their Bush Derangement Syndrome is so pervasive and all-consuming that no amount of proof would ever suffice. They're even still persisting in the utter fiction that Valerie Plame was "outed" to "punish" her husband for some imagined sin....even AFTER the special counsel admitted that the administration had nothing to do with it at all. Who knew that the left in this country, personified by the Democrat Party, would EVER have stooped so low as to actually cheer for our enemies and the defeat of our troops on the battlefield merely in order to regain lost political power? If this Gelbart guy is typical of their constituencies, it explains alot. ------------ About the author: David A.
