Sept. 10, 2007 With much hyped media coverage, of will he or won't he, it looks like Fred Thompson is entering the 2008 race for the presidency. Big deal! Sure he has political chops, he was a lobbyist after all, and he also is an actor so he can act presidential, but the bonus is that this man can read a tell-a-prompter, meaning his words are not his own. I know what you are about to say, Amanda all politicians say things that other people want them to say, look at your favorite president he was an actor too. And I also know that he is not on my radar as a president. I know I would really vote for this man, but I have something to say. Here it is: With much non-anticipation, and no hype, my thoughts are the following: Fred Thompson- who the heck is this man? Yes, he was a senator, but you only find that out from the media coverage. Yes, he is an actor, Law and Order is his big claim to fame. But what makes him think he is presidential? I guess someone told him he was, because . . . I just don't see it.
I guess it is time to sit back and wait. The race is
starting to heat up.
