Democrats Implode!

By David Allen Jared
Oct. 22, 2007

Congressman Starks' recent rant on the floor of the House even elicited a call for an apology from Speaker Pelosi...who NEVER believes she has to apologize for any of the shenanigans Democrats are prone to pull. That's extraordinary enough, but the fact that Starks wasn't shut down by the acting speaker at the time he was off on his "I-hate-George-Bush" rant is pretty remarkable in itself. What Starks did was a specific violation of House rules--even though Democrats tend to install one set for Democrat members and another for members who are Republicans. That incident clearly points out the fact that Democrats have slowly but surely been approaching a complete meltdown point in their unbridled hatred of this administration. Time after time, the Bush administration has beaten them at their own game and it's making them crazy as loons--probably because they've believed since 1999 that George W. Bush is really an idiot. Unfortunately for them, he's clever enough to outfox them time and again...which sort of gives one the idea that THEY are the real idiots.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a particular fan of everything President Bush has done in his 7 years in office. I think he and the Secretary of Defense made a bad mistake after decimating the Iraqi Army in 2003. They SHOULD have rounded them up, confiscated their weaponry and incarcerated them until they were capable of giving believable parole and had the troops on the ground to DO all of that. I absolutely despise his policies towards illegal immigration and I despair of his tendency to cozy up to people like Ted Kennedy in his education policies. Instead of the huge funding increase they received, he should have been working to disband the Department of Education altogether. It does almost NOTHING of particular value to our kids except write unfunded mandates and pass out government largess to selected, protected minority schools. His pushing for allowing uninspected Mexican trucking into and through the U.S. is also a STUPID idea that's going to kill Americans for no advantage to us. In short, he seems to be a one-world-government supporter and seems to want to move us in that direction, when most Americans value and believe firmly in our own sovereignty. Finally, Bush has tended to place 'WAY too much faith in the UN--an organization that is so corrupt it resembles a Central American banana republic ruled by a military junta.

That said, however, all in all, President Bush was absolutely right to take on Al Qaeda and other terrorist organizations and make them pay dearly for all of the attacks they've made against us. It was about time we did something like what he did and stood up and said "No more!" Democrats have been frustrated in their efforts to cause us to lose the war in Iraq and there's not much doubt at all that they've been trying to do that very thing. For some reason, they think that their only hope of winning back the White House for yet another Clinton rests entirely on their being able to disgrace THIS President. It drives them absolutely CRAZY that their "hero," Bill Clinton stand as the only 20th Century President to have been impeached and they've tried every possible way to impeach Bush, too.

They pulled out all the stops in 2004 in an effort to defeat President Bush and might have managed it if it hadn't been for a patriotic group of men who knew that Senator Kerry's so-called "record" in the military had been fabricated in an effort to make him more palatable to Americans after his virtual treason at the end of the war. They said so, from first-hand experience with him and exposed him for what he was. They paid homeless people with cigarettes to vote several times in Minnesota and New Orleans and drove them around in vans to cast those votes. They registered illegal aliens in both California and Florida and they once again tried to disqualify absentee ballots of our troops overseas in several States, knowing that the military was 90% pro-President Bush. Their Senate majority leader since the 2006 elections has declared the war "lost," and they've even tried to recently alienate one of our allies to turn them against assisting us in Iraq. This HAD to be intentional because the incidents they were trying to condemn were almost 100 years old and they haven't even attempted such a stupid resolution since, except for one stab in the '90's which was quickly quashed by the leadership in order to protect President Clinton's reputation.

The Democrats are, in short, imploding. Anytime a political party tries to subvert our war effort...whichever party that is...you can bet it's calculated to embarrass the sitting President. They make noises about how they "support the troops" and then do everything possible to demoralize them. Sorry, but that's not the sort of "support" our troops need or want. The Democrat Party is on its way out. They've allowed themselves to be taken over by the far left loons and assorted screwballs and it'll sound the death-knell for a once-proud party....not that I'm going to shed any tears when it happens, mind you.
