Oct. 1, 2007 The rough definition of a psychopath: 'One who believes he has a god given right to be treated as being above the rest of humanity; the purpose of the lower orders to cater to his wishes and to work towards his betterment; any one not conforming guilty of a heinous crime’. Sure we can all laugh and mention some one who fits the above bill, be it your boss, your mother in law, your wife, or what ever. These however will usually turn out to be people with whom we do not see eye to eye. Psychopaths are a different kettle of fish as they actually work full time in order to ensure all around them measure up and perform in such a way as to ensure their will is done. In order to get those around them to perform to their expectations they will ,in much the same way as would a pimp, nurse a prospective subject with favors until the time of the initiation. When the psychopath runs into one who resists his demands he will endeavor to manipulate the exchange of words in such a way as to give the impression that the antagonist is but a crude bore. However this situation can not last. No one, including psychopaths, can forever live in world where they are just acting a part as sooner or later they will get it wrong. This is where the next phase kicks in; the revelation of how things really are, the explosion, the threats of violence, or even actual violence performed upon another. These out bursts are terrifying to witness as the person suffering this condition completely lose control, generating great amounts of adrenalin along with the messianic belief in the rightness of his cause, discouraging even a strong man from becoming physically involved. One could say, well so what, why does’t the duped recruit just say the hell with it and walk away. Well it is not always that easy as there can be economic considerations as well as social attachments to a third party involved in some way with the psychopath. Sometimes the circle surrounding the psychopath is so completely under his control it acts in such a way as to ensure his will is done. Well why not report the person to the police or sue him in court. Again not so easy as these people have been involved with the courts all of their lives, some not having any kind of record despite this repeated involvement. They know how to ensure witnesses will not show up. It’s a sad commentary on are modern enlightened age that the only way to deal with these people is after they have committed an offense so heinous that they can’t escape its legal consequence's. Sometimes even this is not the end of the matter as the manipulation continues from behind bars. Why there have been actual cases where a mother is so frightened of her son’s eventual release from jail that she obtains a concealed carry firearms permit promising to use deadly force if he ever contacts her. What is even more alarming is that police who have dealt with the offender when a juvenile are castigated by certain media as being fascist, racist etc. for harassing such a decent, upstanding , if misunderstood, young man.
One gets the weird feeling that one is living in a
world of Alice in Wonderland fantasy. Would the police
stop
and charge a juvenile for merely political or social
reasons? as claimed by some. And if a mother did not
really
believe her son was a threat to her would she really
obtain a concealed carry fire arm permit? What has
happened here is that the psychopath has become so
good at manipulation he has not only the courts and
police under his control, but also large segments of
the public who have some kind of axe to
grind. Sometimes it seems that even the media is being
manipulated by psychopaths.
