Nov. 7, 2007 It's been awhile since I last submitted an article here and there were several reasons for my absence and silence. My life has taken some unexpected turns and I have had to deal with that and I got a little tired of the atmosphere around here. I have always wanted to come here to express myself and to write about what I am interested in hoping that somehow, I would be sharing some experiences and thoughts with other people who might find what I had to say of value. That hasn't always been the case and I eventually learned that I could never please all of the people all of the time. After realizing that some of the topics that I chose to write about had the capability of stirring the pot in a rather negative manner I tried to switch gears and cover other subjects. Sometimes I got nice responses and at other times I got extremely negative ones. I learned to deal with both. I have touched upon subjects as far reaching and removed from each other as night is to day. From a missing girl to Alzheimer's disease. From Pop Culture to poetry. I guess I've said all that I have to say for the moment but since I am still hearing from some of the readers here who wonder what happened to me I decided to drop in and say a quick "Hello". My husband's condition is about the same and the care-giving aspect of my life is as difficult as ever. I really wish that there were some brilliant and life changing words of advice that I could offer so that others would not have to deal with some of the difficult moments that I have to deal with; but I don't. It is what it is. Natalee Holloway is still missing and nothing that I have to say will alter that fact or do any good so that isn't a topic I will can write about with any insight or value. My personal opinion really meant nothing and I got a little carried away believing that it did. As always, I hope that her family will one day come to know the truth of what happened to her (whatever that may be) and I wish them peace. Britney and Angelina are still the hot topics of the tabloid press and even the mainstream media so nothing that I say will change that either. Anna Nicole Smith is still dead so that subject is no longer viable. R.I.P Anna and all those who follow in her messed up footsteps in the future.. To close, I hope that those of you who have read what I have had to say in the past (friend or foe), are doing well and that life is treating you fairly. When I have something worthwhile to say I will be sure to say it here in this particular venue. Like The Terminator.....I'll be back.
