May 30, 2007 Continents Of Ice Cream Radios Continents of ice cream radios and the meteor falls yellow. The fifth dream of the night and the stain glass windows with St. Theresa. Old streets and the snow is piled up. Old people and they are masters of stoicism. The bird with red wings, the trusted toad, the goat with the smile. Grapefruit and the mean wonderful shattered sky. The air about her. Revolving doors. Parking lots. Canoes by lakes forever. Tick tock goes the worm. In the frozen noonday summer the good shaded earth. Flying camels and knowing cows. The silver sun and the purple satellite smile. The white trash while and the wooden planks where oil is absent and the dusk hovers forever like some wayward wanton traveler hoping for water. Raisins. Grapes. You could fall in love in autumn if you’re lucky. Long hallways white and unfriendly. Dresses of golden intent. Trees far off, watching lightly forever in a nineties sort of way. Dreamers. The big coats where the winter threatens. Hamburgers that save lives. Bowls of cherries. Streets end. Brown eyes and blonde hair and the smiles and whiles of forever. Pecan Sundays of thought. Horses. Denim, buttons, violet rays of glory and good ways. Continents of ice cream radios and the meteor falls yellow. Jacob Ellis (6) Jacob Ellis was a door holder and a money return person. That does not mean that he worked in the lobby of a hotel and also as an investment advisor. It only means that, in public, he was worried about doors crashing back on the person behind him, so he held the door open for the next person. The problem was that the person after that came through, and the person after that, and so on. He also found money and instead of keeping it, he returned it, even though he was sometimes broke and could use any money he found.
