Riding Horses Through The Streets, In That Time, Nature's Switch, Metropolis, and Storms On The Sea May 15, 2007 Riding Horses Through The Streets Riding horses through the streets Where the rabid dog greets The forest is strewn with dead centaurs And the promised love Never arrived Riding horses through the streets Where the cool women talk Where the coffee shop flock Hide their wallets Adore their silver Riding horses through the streets Make me a woman that Is sturdy and mean Make me a woman like Hell has never seen Riding horses through the streets The carnival of dances and masks... Lanterns imitate the sun And I know I why The good birds weep In That Time All the colors of the world Lit up like rainbows And the crescent moon Laughed Summer palm trees Smiled for the light rains By the streets where vendors Sat Puerto Rican mysteries And huge families by tables While straw hats rest in the Shade Gloom got swept away And fields were straight While the afternoons stood Mellow Nature's Switch Rainy shingles And the rabbits Grow in gardens For innocence Sunlight thru Forest trees While snails Move on leaves Crows fly While gray squirrels Run along branches To wake up bugs Wildflowers yearn To grow from winter’s Dread and Grow they may Metropolis Grand cities where radios play But we got no time for those Cool low-down ways cause Each has one real time there Shipping and receiving docks Where the corridors of boxes Sit idly and gather dust And pressure washers sleep Old accident cars and trucks Broken in the sun windows In a million pieces angels Have fled from that place Over civilized and everything Has been done we can only Wait for the night and say a Little prayer to an absent God Storms On The Sea Storms on the sea Moss on the old boat The workers clearing the deck Old clouds groan Whales move away The reefs are uneasy Sands and plants From the depths Mermaids and sharks Sirens and treasure Calamities lurk Poseidon waits Storms on the sea Anchors and chains While the wind Has no mercy ------------ Email Brian Michael Barbeito: Brian1750@Hotmail.com Comment on this article here! ------------ All articles are EXCLUSIVE to Useless-Knowledge.com and are not allowed to be posted on other websites.
