 By Ken Hughes Mar. 31, 2007 I’m always encouraged when I can inspire some young person to write something that has a smattering of coherence to it. Mr. Fred Smith saw fit to mock the poem I re-published recently [School Prayer] as though I wrote it. I clearly stated in the forward to the poem where it came from, Ireland and that it was not my work. Still Mr. Smith missed the big words and went on his own assumption, that’s what happens to people who aren’t familiar with or care about the truth. It’s apparent sometimes Mr. Smith gets confused with two syllable words. We must give Mr. Smith credit his bio on his new blog says he’s learning how to read and write. Let me be the first to congratulate you Mr. Smith I’m sure given time and effort you’ll get there. I didn’t read all of Mr. Smith’s critique of the poem I submitted, a few lines in and it was apparent Mr. Smith didn’t have a clue what it was about nor did he care, Mr. Smith is one of those UK contributors who chooses to attack his fellow contributors rather than to try to use his brain to inform about more pressing issues. He simply chose something to try to denigrate a fellow contributor he doesn’t happen to see eye to eye with. It’s a ploy frequently used by Liberals, if they can’t match wits with others they try to destroy them. The problem with that tactic is the readers recognize the wit from the half-wit. So Mr. Smith when you find cause to ridicule me in the future be my guest.
