 By Ken Hughes Mar. 12, 2007 Not even Attila the Hun or Genghis Kahn where greater threats to mans existence than what’s coming. [Global Warming] is on our door steps it’s not more than a few million years away. That is unless you’re one of those conspiracy theorists who delight in peddling doom and gloom then it’s just around the next bend in the road. Or maybe the next next or several next bends down the road. For the thinking man there are more than a few holes in the global warming theory that needs plugging. 90% of the Artic Ice Cap and all know ice is below sea lever therefore if it melts the water will simply fill the void. The Antarctic is a land mass for the most part and has an over abundance of snow that if it melted it wouldn’t do much to raise sea levels [1 foot of snow equals 1 inch of water.] If the rest of the snow and ice melted it would be absorbed into the earth. I think we can pretty much forget using a diving suit to visit San Francisco and New York anytime soon. Global Warming is a guessing game that adults teach children to play. There are no hard facts just guesses and the person who comes up with the most ridiculous guess wins a prize. Some of the better predictions are as follows. The polar bears are melting [no sorry that’s ice cubes are melting polar bears are dieing]. Someone photo shopped a polar bear sleeping on an ice burg and then posted it on the internet as proof of global warming. Polar bears are capable of swing 100 miles or more. If I swam 100 miles I sure as hell would want to take a nap. The polar bears are doing fine and increasing in numbers they send their love from the warm spots surrounding the oil fields on the North Shore. “The snows of Kilimanjaro are melting,” That’s Elephant pucky the pictures of Kilimanjaro snow lines were another photo shopped ruse to muster up support for global warming. These GWN [Global arming Nazis] probably believe all the lies they tell to scare the hell out of the public. Its one of those things people believe an exaggeration is necessary to get their message out. More and more Scientists are questioning the speculative data that supposedly supports global warming. We do know most of the supposed data affirming global warming is not coming from scientists but from bloggers and politicians with a need and a message. When God created this earth he gave man all the things he would need to survive and prosper, he / she kept weather for him / her self. More to calm mans ego than anything else, as we can see it isn’t working. Once more mans arrogance comes to the forefront making him look like the damned fool he is. Man can’t predict weather from one day to the next how can he predict with any accuracy the presumption of global warming. I must admit these scare tactics have their place and they do some good. Air pollution at the beginning of the 20 century was much greater than it is today. The smoke stacks of the first three quarters of the 20th century are gone. The automobile industry progresses with fuel efficiency faster than the public’s willing to accept it. I’m sure there are scientists working to bring animal fluctuation under control. We’d been told women’s hot flashes were contributing to global warming, I think they’ve backed off on that one. What do thinking people know for sure, they know the environment does better when there are no panic attacks pushing it for unrealistic results. They know man has the capabilities of working with nature if we don’t try to work against it. They know God has a plan and if we work within that plan things will go well for us. They know this earth wasn’t created for a single generation it was put here for thousands of generations past, present and future. There’s a tendency to besmirch God these days to deny his / her existence, I can tell you from experience and observation the older we get the more we become believers in God and his power over our lives. When most men and women are called to leave this earth they aren’t asking for their insurance agents there’re begging Gods forgiveness for offending him / her in the past.
