Jun. 10, 2007 The first primary hasn’t even started, let alone concluded. The Democrat candidates in their finery and the GOP candidates in their profundity are all making it clear that when it comes to supporting the President and his desire to keep America from being the next war zone, they are helplessly inept and desperately seeking to remain uninvolved. The Democrats are openly ecstatic upon every administration failure. They have no solutions of their own and they condemn every effort by the diplomats and the generals to advance improvement in the governmental and military capabilities of the Iraqis. Harry Reid has already condemned the surge efforts as hopeless, and the war “lost”. But, of course, Harry Reid is an idiot and a coward. You can take his words at face value. That face value is abject worthlessness. The GOP candidates have gone to Bush bashing as their means of gaining some sort of recognition. Face it, Clinton and Obama are practically household names and the main stream media fawn over and throw softball questions at each of the democrat candidates to ensure none of them are tripped up by their liberalism before the first primary votes are cast. The GOP guys are trying to get some of that kind of attention for themselves. When speaking of conservative values the media yawns and reports in the deep pages. When any GOP voice speaks against Bush the front pages are ready to scream those words to the furthest reaches of the universe. The big issue is the battle for Iraq in the war against terrorism. The terrorists know how important an Iraq victory would be to their cause. If liberty and democracy is permitted in a nation the Islamists need to remain a 12th century example of tyranny, the Islamists lose. Why the democrats are so bent on giving the terrorists any victory anywhere is beyond mortal ken. But when GOP voices begin to parrot the inanities of liberal idealism when it comes to the defeat of enemies, it is time to look at the whole field of candidates with major skepticism. The only brave and diligent soul in this whole vision is the American President. His is now seemingly the lone voice declaring the necessity in defeating radical Islamism. All other voices are speaking of diplomacy and appeasement; release of prisoners and permission of American constitutional rights to declared enemies and killers. That all seems rather convoluted. I want real debates. I am tired of hearing things candidates think I want to hear. I want to hear truth for a change. I believe I will begin to hear truth after the primaries have run their course and the fields of candidates on both sides have been weeded to one or two. Then we should be allowed to witness debates on issues. What are the issues and how will the remaining candidates face these issues. I would like to hear each voice speak without one single reference to Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Carter or any other former president. I want to know that the candidates understand the issues, not as they are presented by media or polls, but how each issue stands in actuality. Don’t tell me about abortion. I know about abortion. Do you know about abortion and if you do when and how will you end the massive murder of innocent souls? Don’t tell me about war. I know about war. Do you know about war and how it is intended to destroy enemies and not give them another opportunity to kill defenseless civilians? Don’t tell me about illegal immigration. I know about illegal immigration. Do you know about illegal immigration and how the term illegal means it is against standing American law to just run into the country and collect American largesse with impunity? Don’t tell me about political corruption. I know about political corruption. Do you know that political corruption has been discovered among democrats and republicans alike and that the only party that does anything about their corrupt members is the republican party while democrats circle their wagons and place their corrupt officials in higher positions of authority? Just ask Charles Schumer, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. They are perfect examples of those who screw up that have moved up. I should not have to mention tampering with the FBI files of political opponents, traitorous trips to Syria or Nevada land deals under shady circumstances. And just one last comment: Paul Begala is democrat scum. There. Now I feel better. ------------ About the Author: Michael John McCrae has contributed over 700 articles to Useless-Knowledge.com.
