Feb. 25, 2007 “Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindred of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.” (Revelation 1:7) When Jesus returns to earth it will not be a good day for those who are standing to see it. The rapture of the true church will have already occurred. The world will have undergone seven years of judgment and billions of the world’s population will have physically died either by judgment or martyrdom. The martyrs will be those who refused to accept the rule of the anti-Christ and refused to accept his mark of allegiance. Those who perish with that mark will next see only their final judgment and their second death. Jesus explained these things to his followers. The disciples may not have understood initially, but they eventually realized that the words of their many prophets could not be ignored. The events had happened as spoken. Jesus was, without and leftover doubt, the Messiah. What prompted me to write is a recent story I read with a title that talked of “666” tattoos being placed on the membership of a Florida church. This one paragraph sums up the whole of the article. “Members of Growing in Grace, a controversial religious sect headquartered in Doral, said they were following the example of their leader, Jose Luis De Jesus Miranda, who has claimed to be Jesus and recently declared himself the Antichrist.” One of the major warnings from Jesus to his disciples was that many would come throughout the continuing history of mankind claiming to be the “Christ”, and we have seen this repeated in places like Guyana (Jim Jones), Waco (David Koresh), Korea (Sun Moon), and now in Florida. This fellow who is calling himself Jesus is a fraud. By his own silly interpretations of the Bible he calls himself “antichrist”. He honors Satan by allowing his followers to tattoo themselves with the mark of the beast. To call this group a “religious sect” is to be generous with their description. They are a cult being led by a well-financed charlatan and egoist. He just has marvelous public relations and a very gullible following. Mr. Miranda is indeed an anti-Christ. This is nothing to be proud of. It is nothing to aspire to. It is dangerous religiosity. Yet, this too is not new. It was prophesied. As we approach the end of all days to the day of the actual coming of Jesus, men will be faced with many more of these strange individuals who believe they are the incarnate God, capable of saving the world. Jones, Koresh, Moon and now Miranda are all wrong. They could not, nor can they repeat what Christ has already accomplished. They might steal fame and gain personal wealth with their misinterpretations and deliberate deceits, but for all their words and flamboyance they will not, and could not bring one soul to grace. That is the purview of the only true God. When Jesus comes, men will not have to read the paper to know it. “Every eye” will see the arrival and then the end will fall upon all who hold the mark of the beast with any importance. Men will cry because they will finally see their end. It will not be a good day for the many. ------------ Email Skip: skiptoomaloo@hotmail.com Comment on this article here! ------------ All articles are EXCLUSIVE to Useless-Knowledge.com.
