I Didn’t Read Tom Pain’s Latest Foolishness

I’ve read enough of Tom Pain’s stupid articles for at least a lifetime, so when I saw one that was apparently aimed at my article about the overrepresentation of Jews in the US Senate, I deliberately refrained from opening it. Thus, it is only my guess that the article is about what I said it was about. Nonetheless, knowing Pain, I know his article was a piece of obnoxious trash in any case. Most of his articles are. So I would have no pang of conscience if I guess were wrong.

I rarely read his articles or rebuttals anymore. Now and then, I glimpse a line or two, or perhaps even a whole paragraph. Usually when I see his name in the rebuttal section, I don’t even click, and ordinarily I bypass his articles altogether. I notice he has posted quite a few articles and rebuttals evidently aimed at me, but I know from experience that he often mounts these articles only for the purpose of making a nuisance and a pest of himself. The revolting spectacle of a 50-old-man, who by his own admission, overindulges in alcohol and marijuana, behaving like an undisciplined two-year-old brat is something that I would rather skip. Pain is like a chimpanzee who flings filth at passers-by or a lifer vituperating prison guards. .

I am willing to read his articles on a per-word basis however. I charge one US cent per word. So if Pain wants me to sift through one of his thousand-word rubbish bins, let him remit US $10 through PayPal or some other trustworthy online agent. Upon receipt of the money, I will read his article cursorily, which is all that it can possibly deserve, and I will post a critique in the rebuttal section.

I’ve told Pain again and again that, even setting aside his venomous views about everything under the sun, I’m not in the least interested in all his disgusting obscenities and nauseating figures of speech.

Nothing seems to shut this stupid monstrosity up. Even when he gets voted off the site, he merely assumes a false name and starts posting his lies again. Even when half a dozen people denounce his endless arrogance in articles and rebuttals, he appears again, acting as if he is the arbiter and the judge in spite of everything.

He has said again and again that all his fellow contributors are stupid. He alone, to hear him tell it, possesses perspicacity and intelligence. If he’s so gifted, let’s see him compose a critique of this article.

I’m afraid Tom Pain is just a blowhard. I noted his blowhard disposition months ago in the rebuttal section, and it was no exaggeration. Here’s his own autobiographical note, “Just an American boy with so much common sense, it hurts.” This is like someone who says, “Ain’t I a genius?” or “Ain’t I handsome?”, figuring that his captive audience will merely agree out of strained politeness. Then he can go home and lie in bed, thinking about how much everyone stands in awe of him.
