The Jew-Hater Rears His Ugly Head

By Tom Pain
Feb. 24, 2007

Yep, it’s as if Thomas Keyes menstrual cycle has come around again and his body is expelling the tiny egg of compassion for Jews that was hoping to grow inside his belly. His monthly, I-hate-Jews article appeared yesterday, and like the earlier editions, it is obvious his obsession about Jews knows no bounds.

How else does one explain the hours Thomas must devote to researching of minutia that has no other purpose than to substantiate his bigotry. Let’s just question the readers, those of you who do not hate Jews: “When was the last time you spent an afternoon researching how many members of the Senate were Jews?” What, you say that you’ve never spent an afternoon researching that topic? Tell me, what would you think of someone who did? And other similar topics about Jews, month after month, looking for any evidence of Jews behind any bush? Wouldn’t you suspect that the person hated Jews? You would be right.

The entirety of Thomas’ article is garbage. He has researched arcane biographical information about Senators and raised that information to decision-deciding status. How many of those Jewish Senators were elected because they were Jewish? How many voters chose Barack Obama because he is black, or because he is not Hispanic? How many voted for him because he is not Jewish? The answer to all of this questions is basically, “none.” Yet Thomas wants you to believe those are the primary reasons they were elected.

Maybe a better topic for Thomas to waste his hours on would be to document how many blacks, Hispanics, and Jews ran for Senate seats. Maybe we would find that a higher percentage of candidates were Jewish, and few were black or Hispanic. That would explain why more Jewish candidates are elected. Hard for many blacks or Hispanics to get elected if few are actually running for office.

Thomas claims that Jewish wealth is the reason for a disproportionate number of Jewish Senators. That’s BS. Yes, it takes a lot of money to wage a Senate campaign, but there are many examples of huge sums being spent in losing campaigns. The most important factor in the campaign is the candidate’s “electability.” My theory is that there are more Jewish Senators than there are Black and Hispanic Senators because more Jewish candidates were “electable.” Duh, nothing like a little common sense to blow bigotry out of the water.

Another huge factor in the disparity is that Blacks and Hispanic candidates often run on a racial platform – exactly that “Vote for Me, I’m Black/Hispanic” attitude that I believe loses elections. The Democrats are expected to try that exact strategy in the ’08 Presidential race – “Vote for Me, I’m a Woman” and “Vote for Me, I’m Black.” Otherwise, neither of those two candidates is qualified to lead the country.

Jewish candidates do not run on the “I am Jewish” platform. I don’t recall any campaign promoting a candidate’s Jewish beliefs. Thus, they can get elected.

Maybe, if we could get a Jewish candidate to run solely on the fact that he/she is Jewish, the question could be definitively settled. If “Elect me, I’m Jewish” is successful, then there might be some truth to what Thomas says. If, as I predict, that candidate would lose, it would seem to cast doubt on Thomas’ hypothesis.

From his bigoted article, but addressing his bigotry towards blacks now, listen to this stupidity from Keyes: “I submit that Blacks in New Hampshire and blacks in Vermont would feel more solidarity with each other than the two subgroups would feel with the non-Black residents of their respective states. That the inequity is built-in by the Constitution does not alter the fact that it is an inequity and should be remedied.”

To what “inequity” does he refer? Why does he seem to support some strange political legislation to enforce “solidarity”? American voters should not vote from any feeling of solidarity, they should vote for the candidate they personally believe best qualified for the job. Thomas’ hillbilly logic assumes that all blacks think alike so the Constitution should be modified to grant those like-thinkers representation. It’s absurd. There are liberal blacks and conservative blacks. There are blacks that are Republican and others that are Democratic.

Thomas is narrow-minded. Because he cannot see the big picture, he wants to put everyone into tidy little groups that he can understand. To Thomas, “democracy” means a government that comprises representative proportions of every racial or religious group. If not, the government is an “oligarchy.” His concept is utterly stupid and racist in fact. A democracy exists when all citizens, regardless of color or belief, has an equal vote, and an equal opportunity to nominate candidates. That exists in America. Racists and bigots believe that demographic groups are exactly alike and their votes are merely rubberstamps of the group’s larger agenda.

I agree that a well-funded candidate can advertise more to build name recognition, but if that leads to the election of a less-qualified candidate, the fault is with the voters, and not the system. The fact is that the American voter is, on average, politically naïve, and utterly apathetic. The fact is that the Jewish American voter is, on average, more politically aware and not apathetic.

Thomas Keyes hates Jews; it’s just that simple.
