Feb. 24, 2007 Seriously folks, have all of you visited Michelle Malbury’s web site? This babe is hot. Check it out! In a strange quirk of my own personality, I like that shot of her in the black and white dress the most. I expect others will vote in favor of the bikini.
Even better, that passion! Do you read her articles? Can you just picture the color in her cheeks, the flared nostrils, her lips quivering? I can. Dang, why can’t I find a woman like that who isn’t a liberal, or at least less liberal, or at least smart enough to see through Hillary Clinton?
Alas, it’s always something. Either I get a beautiful, smart, conservative woman like my girl, whose passion can’t be found with an electron microscope, or I find some passion-filled lunatic that I can’t talk to. Not to say that one cannot talk to Michelle, I have on a number of occasions and she is quite civil. However, it is a proven fact that man cannot have sex forever; I’d eventually get in a fight with Michelle in this fantasy world I’ve imagined.
I’d get in a fight because she can’t seem to temper her emotion with a dose of reality. Her most recent article, Stop the Killing, Stop Bush, is the latest example. Even the premise of that title makes a realist gag. She refers to Iraq of course, but Iraqis were being killed by the hundreds of thousands before America invaded. Saddam was killing them. And what, pray tell, does she think is going to happen if the U.S. leaves Iraq? Here’s a hint: killing, more killing than we’re seeing now.
The Reality: Iraqis are going to keep killing each other until one side wins. Yes, it’d be nice if they learned to live in peace with each other, but don’t count on it. Our only goal is to make sure the winning side supports our interests in the region.
Listen to her passion when she describes the Democrats: “the democrats are considering and working towards a binding resolution that would revoke the extreme privileges that were granted to this Administration on the heels of 9/11 to combat terrorism. I say it is about time! The voice of America has never been greater than it was this past November…”
Who is she trying to fool? If she believes the voice of America demanded the U.S. leave Iraq, then her beloved Democrats are spitting in the eye of all those voters. They have the majority, just cut off the funds. They were elected to do that, so why don’t they do it?
The answer is because America’s voice was heard – heard by the politicians and recognized to be ignorant, just as it has been for the entirety of American history. The Democrats heard that their propaganda campaign worked – I suspect that they are still in shock that it did.
The Reality: just as I predicted before the election, and I said it didn’t matter who won the election, the troops are not going to be leaving Iraq anytime soon. Just because most Americans are ignorant, and believe whatever the leftist media tells them, doesn’t mean politicians do.
The Republicans are daring the Democrats to cut off the funds. Bush is creating a surge to try to make Democrats cut off the funding. The Democrats are between a rock and a hard place that everyone knew was coming.
If the Democrats cut off funds, the very likely result is that large-scale civil war breaks out in Iraq with hundreds of thousands killed. It will last a long time with Saudi Arabia and Syria supporting the Sunnis and Iran supporting the Shia. The battle could go either way – although the minority, Sunnis were running the place before the U.S. arrived. The U.S. interests are hurt either way. We are in desperate need of a staunch ally in the Middle East.
Being responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Middle Easterners does not make good press no matter how you spin it – and that’s the best-case scenario for the Democrats.
The worst-case scenario? The Democrats cut funding, the troops come home, and we suffer a terrorist attack. How’s that gonna play on Main Street of flyover America?
Yep, Bush is trying to force the Democrats hands. They’ve painted themselves into a corner with voters, in desperation to win any election after two decades of losses. But they’ve sacrificed any chance at long-term success by doing so.
You know Michelle is living on raw emotion when you read statements like this: “Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have a difficult task to stop this administration for stepping up their ill-fated war with Iraq.”
The task isn’t difficult at all. They simply have to keep their party in line – and there are plenty of Republicans willing to vote with them. It is not difficult; they just don’t have the gonads for it. And it is stupid politically; the odds are against them.
Seriously, passion like hers is sexy as heck, but don’t you suspect that she’s just a little bit witchy if she doesn’t get her way. And how can she, listen to this dream from lala land: “The way I see it there is no alternative except to begin the immediate removal of our troops from Iraq.”
The Reality: Michelle, honey, it ain’t gonna happen. Best-case scenario, our troops retreat a bit and we begin carpet-bombing the country. How’s that stop the killing? I’d just hate to be living with you when your passion is just frustrated day after day. And we’re not even talking about all the other liberal fantasies you wish for.
How many times have we heard Michelle say this: “I believe that Bush and his entire administration are guilty of war crimes and should be punished by impeachment at the soonest possible opportunity.” Dang, I’m guessing a dozen times in the last year.
The Reality: It ain’t gonna happen, dearest Michelle. Here, hold my virtual hand and calm down. You need to relax and begin to comprehend the difference between “impeachable offense” and “policy differences.” Spewing in Monica’s mouth and lying about it under oath – that’s an impeachable offense. Trying to explain the complex reasons for invading Iraq to an ignorant public that believes American Idol is good TV and Britney Spears is a role model, is not an impeachable offense.
Here is Michelle going off the deep end: “The UK has begun pulling their troops out. Is not this a huge wake-up call for our president? Does this not tell us that the war is not winnable in a military sense?”
This war is absolutely “winnable in a military sense.” I would suggest that it could be won in about thirty minutes “in a military sense.” Or, if you did not want to leave the land a contaminated wasteland, it could be won in about a year using massive air strikes and several hundred thousand troops. What we are beginning to see is that it will be very difficult to win this war “in a political sense.” Difficult because politicians want us to lose. Difficult because politicians are afraid to win.
However, I do encourage Michelle in her delusions. And I want her to keep spreading her
message. The best thing that can
happen for the GOP is for the Democrats to cut off funding. The next best thing would be for the
Democrats to initiate impeachment proceedings against Bush.
