Radio at night And they Talk about The Soviet Space Program There was a whisper, The man said, Telling the spacemen They were not Yet ready for Such travel… A whisper from God or a whisper From something Even stranger Comet come hither Meteorite maladies We are strange architecture We are a spaceman And a whisper too Trevor’s Troubles And Tanya’s Triumphs Trevor was in a bad way. He constantly felt panicky. He often got dizzy and even felt feelings of unreality. He had racing thoughts. He thought in a fatalistic and worst case scenario manner. It got so bad that Trevor could hardly ever sleep, and when he did, he had nightmares. He began to lose weight, and to hardly get down anything when he tried to eat. At other times, all he wanted to do was sleep or eat. At those times, he gained weight, but too much weight. Trevor tried to figure out why he was going crazy. He had experienced no trauma. He went to the railings outside of where he was staying and looked at the night. He threw up. He paced. Trevor then wondered why he didn’t feel suicidal. It would be wise to feel such away in his situation, he thought. Trevor felt the world close in. The sight of the world seemed like an out of focus movie. How would Trevor extricate himself from his predicament? He thought and thought and thought. His thoughts raced. He paced. Eventually years went past. Trevor was a mess. He managed to act like a normal person out in the world. He was only acting though. For the most part, he had lost it, if he ever really had it at all. Trevor could never figure out what exactly was going on with him. Trevor was always in a bad way. Tanya had a bounce in her step. She felt not only confident and resilient in the face of life, but like the whole world was there for her to explore. Tanya had great posture, and a smile that put everyone at ease. She was very sure of herself. Working hard always, and planning out real world events in her life. Her friends looked to her for advice. She seemed to know exactly where she’d been and where she was going. She exercised and ate well, and though she drank, it was really only socially. Tanya was at the top of her game. If she was sad or worried, it was only for a moment. She rested when she rested, and slept deeply, soundly. She went outside for walks at her condominium, around a man made pound, where there were friendly people. What had she done to deserve her great fortune and health? She didn’t know for sure, but she thanked her lucky stars and her hard work. She felt the world open up before her. She laughed and laughed and laughed. She was herself in the world, never having to put on airs. She was the picture of sanity. Tanya was perfectly adjusted. For the most part, she always had been. Tanya was in a good way. ------------ Email Brian Michael Barbeito: Brian1750@Hotmail.com Comment on this article here! ------------ All articles are EXCLUSIVE to Useless-Knowledge.com and are not allowed to be posted on other websites.
