Feb. 15, 2007 I love basketball, and in another era I marvelled as Mike Jordan schooled some young whippersnapper who imagined he was the Big New Thing. Jordan was ruthless, demonstrateing his overwhelming superiority to the delight of the home town crowd. Since the days of Michael Jordan I have not witnessed a shooling such as Thomas Keyes gave Tom Pain. Mr. Keyes clearly demonstrated his superiority of the English language. Keyes was the master scholar and Pain was the somewhat knuckle head student. I will be the first to admit, and indeed there's no need for me to admit that I am not an english scholar. But I sent Mr Keyes article to an English teacher of mine and he died laughing. I explained what an arrogant anal retentive gentleman Pain is, and how he needed a cumuppendance while Keyes duly delivered. Chaucer, my teacher friend, agreed with me that Keyes delivered a schooling par excellance. I"m the Country Gentleman, JIm Montoya is the UFO B Oy. There's the Avenger and Deathstar. After schooling Mr. Pain upside his dense head, Mr. Keyes needs a nickname. L:ord of the Keyes? The Keymaster? Mr. Keyes the U-K comminity enjoys your travel pieces but anytime you feel inclined to school Mr. Pain again, by all means, please do so. The Country Gentleman, your faithful fan. ------------ About the author: Steve Miller is a new contributor of Useless-Knowledge.
