The excitement and great participation in the 1st Annual Useless-Knowledge 500-Word Essay Contest has caused the U-K Editorial Staff to increase the prize list: The Winner will now receive two long months in a glittering, front page marquee, suitable for advertising his/her craft, and a colorful Useless-Knowledge T-Shirt of his/her choice as well!

Scoring ballots have already been mailed to all current contestants. The ballots are due back to the Editor by Friday, May 25. Awards will be presented on Friday, June 1.
