No motels where
The great ocean
Salts the stucco
Walls we walk
Like that

No fish for the
Deep running
Insect summer
And the chairs
Receive science

No intersections
Of gladness or
The shops where
The world floats
Like a veritable
Wish determined

No astral travels
Or watching the
Numbers by
White convertibles
In the twentieth
Century kindness

No city pastures
Where the lights
Blink where the
Crows grow where
The ducks dream
histories of
worlds

No street but the
One where the
Paintings of damp
Cloth healing or
Colorful days of
Laser beams sing

No eyes hearing
Pools while the ears
Look at leaves on
The southern rooftops
Saddened by glory

No peanut butter
Or crackers where
The couches sturdy
Float down sky
Rivers by dimmer switches
Or white light whiter than
White

No denim jackets
Or metal tins where
The spirit grows
Strong where planets
Spin and space lights
Shine beneath pool
Water or clothing

No stores of salt
And inside
Hearts opening
Remembering pavements
Or walking in shoes
To know
