Apr. 15, 2007 Hope everyone here who celebrated had a splendid holiday celebrating the resurrection of the Lord and Savior of the world! I have been busy over here in the desert and haven’t had a whole lot of time to write. I put together several articles for “The Conservative Voice” because I haven’t been able to access Useless-Knowledge and still cannot get to the site from Kuwait , or at least from the computers I use. Something has caused the local net that supports the base network to reject Useless-Knowledge and I can only access UK from my apartment in the late evenings. Anyway, I wanted to put together a column so you all didn’t start believing I’d given up on you. I’ll try to put one up each week but I have been working steady away from network computers. I have been in the classroom for almost two straight months taking care of soldier requirements here in Kuwait and elsewhere. Don Imus did not deserve to be fired because of Al Sharpton. Perhaps he deserved to be fired on general principle, but certainly not because Al Sharpton voiced any opinion. Al Sharpton has nothing to say about anything. He is a racist against all things white. Has he voiced any positive position concerning the Duke Lacrosse team member acquittals? No. That would be wishful thinking. And speaking to the Duke Lacrosse team members declared “innocent” even though they were innocent from the day they were charged with a crime (innocent before “proven” guilty), Attorney Nifong isn’t the only person who owes an apology to those three college students. There are plenty of other media pukes and colleges administrators who should be stating or writing personal apologies. Who is the father of Anna Nicole’s baby? I didn’t really care and I still don’t know. What was my opinion of Rosie O’Donnell’s latest outbursts about fire and steel? The statements were like music to my ears. The abject asininities that emit from the mouths of prime-time lesbian liberals almost puts to shame the abject crack-pot-isms that emit from the mouth of Nancy Pelosi! And what of that babe in Arab duds! Nancy Pelosi walks out of the Congressional chamber and right into the Department of State! She’s the boss! She’s taking over! She’s going to single-handedly appease every terrorist tyrant in the Middle-East by reassuring them of the democrat’s desire for peace through surrender! What a gal! I read about the $43 million in wasted foodstuffs that FEMA couldn’t store properly in preparation for a hurricane season that never happened! I don’t know who should accept the greater blame in that waste. Should Al Gore take the blame for spreading his fear-filled global warming diatribe to the four corners of Norway (in his attempt to lobby for the Nobel Peace Prize)? Should FEMA take the blame for overreacting to the criticism they endured over their Katrina failures? But no! It is all certainly the fault of President George W. Bush and Karl Rove and Halliburton, Dick Cheney’s former employer! Is anyone out there reading of anything positive about the battle of Iraq in the war against terrorism? Is anyone paying attention to Iran ’s complicity in allowing insurgents and weapons to pass over the Iran-Iraq border? Is anyone paying attention to Muqtada Al Sadr and his merry band of radical Islamic brothers who are accepting Iranian sanctuary and support? Is anyone watching Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his holocaust-denying, radical buddies as they continue to defy world opinion, the United Nations and the more sane elements of world society; continuing their progress toward nuclear martyrdom? No. I see the new majority in the America Congress is more concerned over Karl Rove e-mails and investigating the crap out of every breath taken by President Bush. Cavity searches are next. Dick Cheney and the President should pull down their shorts to make things easier for Charles Schumer, Patrick Leahy, John Conyers and Henry Waxman. The American Congress is more concerned with shutting down Guantanamo Bay and giving the enemy killers there a fair day in any American court capable of acquitting them and letting them return to the world battlefield. The American Congress is more concerned with investigating the FBI and their practice of checking up on domestic terrorism through the use of the Patriot Act. They have been investigating this all along and every year Diane Feinstein reported no problems. All of a sudden there are all kinds of problems and, of course, it is all the fault of President Bush! The race for the white house started two days after the last election. I am bored with all the talk about people who have no chance. It is too soon to concern myself with any of the rhetoric from any single campaign and the questions from reporters to the current crop of candidates boils down to the supreme question; “What is your opinion of Sanjaya?” My answer is “Who Cares?” There is speculation though that former Senator Fred Thompson will declare his candidacy. If Mr. Thompson enters the Republican side of the race I will be paying great attention to the debates and the attacks against him. The attacks will come and come harder than the attacks against Giuliani or Romney or Brownback. If Fred Thompson declares, then the Republicans would be wise to throw all support to Thompson and argue then only among themselves concerning the vice-presidential nomination. Lastly, about the latest Arab efforts to steal the rest of Israel ’s country and kill every last living Hebrew I believe Israel should just tell the King of Saudi Arabia to go pound sand. And lastly, lastly: about every Useless-Knowledge Atheistic Writer’s efforts to condemn Christian beliefs over the holiday? I believe we can tell the atheists to go pound sand too. But it is probably more important to pray for the atheists and wish them all God’s best blessings.
