Sept. 26, 2006 Leaking is apparent in faucets and anti-Bush Administration malcontents. Now we are reading how the battle of Iraq in the War Against Terror is creating more terrorists and how such sentiment is becoming the latest leftist battle-cry. For the normal individual with even elementary school knowledge of history, it is understood that Mohammad and his radical elements have been killing people from the very first. The off-shoots from the original radicalism are the so-called “moderate” Islamists. The Moderates do not participate in the more barbaric practices of Islam but they neither decry the radicals for beheadings and mutilations of captives. Many probably quietly agree with radical excesses. It isn’t Iraq that is causing recruitment to soar for the so-called radicals. What is causing any sudden surge in anti-Americanism in the societies of the Middle East is the thought of winning. The radicals believe that Americans have given up hope of destroying terrorism at its core. The radicals believe they will do to America what they did to Russia . They are probably right. We helped the Islamists beat back the aggressive Soviets and now the Russians are siding with terrorist nations against American interests. It is payback for years of humiliation. Americans in the meantime are going through great gyrations blaming each other for failures that are not failures. The cry is that the current Taliban awakening is a sign of failure; the secular violence in Iraq is a sign of failure; not having captured Usama bin Laden is a sign of failure; all of which is followed by the cry of retreat. These “failures” are failures of diplomacy. They are not failures of the war fighter. We did not kill Usama bin Laden because the Clinton Administration failed in all its Middle East diplomatic efforts by simply blowing off Somalia , the Sudan and Rwanda . They failed in all attempts to negotiate a Palestinian settlement even having Yasser Arafat to the White House some 20 plus times and winning old terrorist Yasser a Nobel Peace Prize of all things! Current diplomatic efforts through the United Nations and the European Union are fruitless, talking-point exercises. The six-nation nuclear confrontation with North Korea is a diplomatic tangle of Communist self-interests that allows North Korea to procrastinate against the West while continuing to develop and test nuclear weaponry. All the while the Bush administration wrestles with a lack of support from half of Congress and repeated calls for the resignations of principles who are trying to do the jobs Democrats have failed to do for decades. The Democrats managed to kill more Americans in the town of Waco , Texas than they managed to arrest and execute terrorist enemies who bombed the World Trade Center in 1993, the Kobar Towers in Saudi Arabia or the USS Cole in the Port of Aden . Idiot leftists and other so-called “moderates” are so afraid of appearances that they have given American constitutional rights to foreign terrorist enemies. There is so much hand wringing about the rough interrogation of known terrorists that the fact that terrorists behead their captives before TV cameras isn’t even an issue. My personal opinion is that all terrorists can rot in hell. My personal opinion too is that all idiot leftists can rot in hell. If you side with terrorism or if you believe people who want America destroyed have any point of reason at all, you are the perfect stooge and you deserve a seat at the table of the Democrat Party of America. Remember, Hezbollah threw a “Victory” celebration the other day and defied the world in saying it would not disarm. Hamas refuses to unify with Mahmoud Abbas and the Fatah of Palestine and they still refuse to recognize Israel . Iran says they will continue uranium enrichment and weapons development. North Korea says they will continue to develop and distribute nuclear weapons. Russia , China and France are determined to disallow sanctions against these rogue states. Syria continues to supply weapons and aid to terrorists in Lebanon . The Sudanese are still killing refugees in the Darfur region of the Sudan . Chavez is allied with Castro and Ahmadinejad and has sponsored non-aligned national meetings to discuss the destruction of America. We hear nothing of these world situations from the mouths of Democrats. We hear only mantras of condemnation that the administration isn’t doing enough. There are no solutions from the left, only worry and hand-wringing and slander combined with the incessant need to investigate and impeach somebody for something.
