Sept. 24, 2006 The supporters of Islam and most Muslims I know believe it is imperative that the whole world be converted to the so-termed “religion of peace”. This “imperative” is no doubt sincere. Most every religion invented by men involves the necessity of proselytizing “unbelievers” into becoming believers. Where religion is concerned, this “belief” is more in the realm of “doing” rather than simply believing. Some religions practice the art of door-to-door salesmanship. Other religions depend on the “crusade”. It is a funny thing that the original “Crusades” involved physically killing as many as were ever converted because the modern form of the “crusade” being that of an evangelical series of sermons is also a form of “killing” a person to the lust of the flesh while revitalizing the soul to eternal spiritual life. Some religions seek to simply destroy all forms of ideology that contradict man-made dogmas and supposed pronouncements from one or several gods, having been determined by men to be the more efficient in granting individual, eternal favor. Setting works above faith is a path to be avoided. Too many times we see the works defining religious standing. In some religions the murder of innocents becomes a path to a quality eternal bliss. There is a “commandment” which states:”Thou shall not commit premeditated murder… (for those of you not needing the appropriate translation of “Thou shall not kill”) but a deliberate planting of car bombs and bomb vests in restaurants and planes flown deliberately into buildings, in my opinion, disqualifies any religion that agrees to provide a virgin-infested eternity of happiness to deliberate killers. I am intrigued by people who cannot accept humor in the form of drawn caricatures. I am intrigued by people who cannot accept hearing the quotes from history concerning the witnessed actions of barbaric religious leadership (Christians do not burn people in effigy who talk ill of past evil popes and priests). I can understand being incensed by direct and dynamic slight. To deliberately mischaracterize those of true faith in the one and only God as evil as fundamentalist Islamic fascists deserves all the ridicule possible. Such statements are simply ignorant. My personal opinion is that all religions need to pass away. Every “religious” person needs to be killed to his religion and needs to recognize the liberty found in a relationship with the One God of Heaven. The only real peace and enlightenment will come when Jesus returns to the earth. Only then will the world acknowledge its error in creating religions based on the “creature” more than the “Creator”. Man has failed ever since the first man to regain what was lost in that first moment of emotion over obedience. We are witnessing too much emotion over obedience. Men do not want to acknowledge their creator. Men believe they create themselves. Men believe all manner of craziness when the true God makes it a point to remind men that he is in complete control every day. Islam and the Muslims need to step back and see that God never intended they bastardize the evangelization process to gain converts. Yes, yes, God did demand that Israel destroy all the nations that resided in the lands he had promised to them. The purity of faith should never be allowed to be smothered by the foibles of men. But the Israelites found a way to fail God by intermarrying with nations that were religiously polluted. There is only one God and every man inherently knows that. The scriptures declare that it is the man who recognizes the true God yet determines to change the truth of God into a lie as the man who God gives over to his imaginations believing murder leads to paradise and other such foolishness. Islam holds its esteem in the world through fear and intimidation. To reject Islam is to court death.
