Israel Does What America Should Have Done

What a country! You gotta love those Israelis. First, Europe looks the other way while Nazis kill millions of Jews. In an attempt to assuage our guilt, the UN carves out a little hole in the desert for the rest of them to live. The land has nothing of value, no natural resources, no industry, no valuable geographic location – just a desert wasteland that only a barbarian could love. Unfortunately, it is surrounded by murderous fanatics living like barbarians from the Middle Ages who hate them with a passion and proceed to try to wipe them off the face of the Earth ever since. Thanks for nothing, UN. Out of the oven, into the fire.

Yet, the Israelis create a strong civilization out of nothing. They quickly establish a vibrant manufacturing economy that produces solid growth and a rising standard of living. Later, they become one of the world’s leading high technology locations. Instead of their cavemen-like neighbors admiring and emulating that success – the jealous know-nothings hate them even more and redouble their efforts to kill every last Israeli.

But the Israelis also create one of the strongest militaries in the world – funny how living next to murderous fanatics can influence your priorities. Every Israeli contributes, the country is united and determined to defeat its enemies. In repeated wars, the Israelis win each one – their enemies are as ignorant as any civilization ever and continue to return for one @$$ whooping after another.

This week provided yet one more example of this classy country’s moral strength. Embarrassingly, they do what America should have done a few years ago. In comparison, our country’s political system is exposed as the corrupt cesspool of immorality that it is.

Today, Israeli police had the integrity and honesty to ask their government to indict Israeli President Moshe Katsav for rape after evidence confirmed his attack on two female employees. Where was US law enforcement when Bill Clinton was raping with impunity? Where were they when Ted Kennedy was killing a woman? Why do powerful Democrats get to murder and rape in our country, and yet be treated like heroes?

I have no doubt that the Israelis will punish Katsav. When will the US punish Clinton and Kennedy? I’m embarrassed that my children have to know they exist.
