Oct. 3, 2006 From and Associated Press article: “Foley resigns after improper e-mails surface”, by Calvin Woodward cited in the “Stars and Stripes, Sunday, 1 October 2006: “Bill Clinton used contrition, counterattack and an artful definition of what constitutes sex in his ultimately successful defense against impeachment brought on by his relationship with and intern of legal age.” To which I would add his successful lies about the 12 years affair he had with Gennifer Flowers, the rape of Juanita Broaddrick and the attacks on Paula Jones and Kathleen Willey, but whose counting? From the same article is this reminder: “Rep. Barney Frank D-Mass., toughed it out after the House reprimanded him in 1989 for using his influence on behalf of the prostitute Stephen L. Gobie. Frank admitted paying Gobie for sex, hiring him with his own money as an aide and writing a letter on congressional stationery on his behalf. A repentant Frank faced constituents at a meeting until they ran out of questions, acknowledging, “I did not handle the pressures of public life, of being a closeted gay man, nearly as well as I should have.” He won acceptance and re-election ever since.” Then there was the admission of the gay governor of New Jersey that he hired his lover into a position he was unqualified for so he could keep himself sexually satisfied. http://www.useless-knowledge.com/columnists/michaeljohnmccrae/article187.html http://www.useless-knowledge.com/columnists/michaeljohnmccrae/article188.html Now comes another page (all pun intended) in the sexual exploits of national politicians with this revelation from FOXNEWS: “House Republican Election Head: I Told Hastert About Foley E-Mails Months Ago”, AP, Saturday, September 30, 2006. But this piece isn’t about the sordid details of Foley and his attempts to see little boys naked. This is about the effort of the family of the little boy to keep things personal and private and how the media is now going to implicate anyone who had even the slightest knowledge of Foley’s emails in an attempt to politically destroy as many Republicans as possible. After all, we know only Republicans resign rather than bring shame to their party while liberal democrats continue to play doctor with their interns and not worry about shame. Although it was clearly Foley who was searching to capture childhood the weight of this sordid mess is being thrown against a man who had nothing to do with it. Quoting the article: “Rep. Thomas Reynolds, head of the House Republican election effort, said Saturday he told Speaker Dennis Hastert months ago about concerns that a fellow GOP lawmaker had sent inappropriate messages to a teenage boy. Hastert's office said aides referred the matter to the proper authorities last fall but they were only told the messages were "over-friendly." “Reynolds, R-N.Y., was told about e-mails sent by Rep. Mark Foley and is now defending himself from Democratic accusations that he did too little. Foley, R-Fla., resigned Friday after ABC News questioned him about the e-mails to a former congressional page and about sexually suggestive instant messages to other pages.” Now, because Foley did the honorable thing and stole the “culture of corruption” arguments from the liberals by promptly resigning, the liberals still want blood. They believe they can milk the situation to smear the entire Republican party. This is one battle that liberals probably will not “cut and run” from. Rep. Reynolds “did too little”. Like Clinton did too little to get Bin Laden and Hillary Clinton did too little to stop her husband from having affairs with other women. My opinion is that all of these sexual shenanigans are because politicians have entirely too much time on their hands. Congress only works two days a week and Clinton never worked except at his golf game, his fundraising and his personal pick-up lines for the many “bimbos” Hillary said were chasing her husband. It is time to allow the FBI and the CIA a free hand at a complete internal investigation of Congress. It is time to eradicate all felonious activities of the nation’s lawmakers; establish a workable “Code of Ethics”; and clean the House and Senate of all such sexual predators. It is also probably time to put all these guys and gals on a time clock and take away their computers. ------------ About the Author: Michael John McCrae has contributed over 500 articles to Useless-Knowledge.com.
