Nov. 20, 2006 The First Headline told me that President Bush was visiting Vietnam before facing Muslim protests in Indonesia . President Bush has this bad habit of going places he’s hated. He keeps trying to prove the good intentions of America . He keeps touting Freedom and Liberty and personal responsibility and the world keeps crying that they prefer Islamic dictatorship and slavery to the state. The President just doesn’t believe that I guess. If the President was smart, he’d cut and run away from Muslims and Islam. They’re too powerful and authoritarian. They have the backing of America ’s liberal democrats and the vast majority of western media outlets. He should back off and let the democrats handle foreign policy. He should take a long vacation. After all, the second headline was even more impressive. Not only does Charles Rangel want to bring back the “Draft” but Senator McCain as a side note wants more troops sent into Iraq ! Rangel has begged for this more than three times now since President Bush became President. I think the President, in a spirit of bipartisan cooperation ought to let Rangel have his way. He should let Rangel raise all the taxes he wants to raise too. He’ll need the additional tax money to support the costs associated with reopening the draft. McCain will be happy that someone is finally listening to him again. Ever since the election victory of the democrats, McCain is finding it hard to get any Sunday face time. He is the only person calling for more troops to Iraq , because when the democrats finally lose that battle and eventually the war against terror, he wants to be in a position to say “See, I was calling for more when everyone else wanted less!” This takes me into the third headline about the 112 Iraqis that were killed yesterday, nationwide. This is the “new” way to present Iraqi violence. It is the overall-countrywide view; where every report from every city is totaled into a single headline to make small matters appear worse. Every event is being placed under the single label of “sectarian” violence. We should do that in America too. We should roll-up every criminal event and event of gang violence, rape, incest, abortion and auto accident and report all deaths every day nationwide. I know media has been touting death tallies from the beginning. Every day seems to set a new record for death. They ignore death in Darfur , Sudan , China and Russia . Has anyone been paying any attention to the sudden upsurge in deaths among Russian Journalists and Newspaper Reporters? It’s an epidemic! So if Rangel gets his draft, McCain will get more troops and the Muslims will continue to protest against liberty and freedom. The President should just take a break and let the democrats handle things for a while. America seems in good hands under the new leadership of individuals who know a good (shady) land deal when they see one and know how to use illegal aliens as cheap labor to amass vast personal wealth from their vineyards, hotels and restaurants. If they over-budget the Republicans can politely ask the democrats to dip into their freezers and reimburse the federal budget from their graft and kickback stashes or they can let Rangel raise some more taxes. While they’re at it they might even raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour. That’ll set all the poor into the higher tax brackets and the democrats can collect even more tax revenue! Yeah!
