Nov. 16, 2006 I guess the god of the Islamic radicals moves in mysterious ways too. Not only does he ascribe to murder through terror and the allowance of homicide as a religious statement; he also votes Democrat in American elections. The leader of Al-Qaida in Iraq is claiming a victory based on the Democrat election victories of November 7th. (Another day of “infamy” in case you’re counting.) It is not really comical. It is very serious. When your enemies praise election results; when your enemies worldwide cheer the lessening of determination to defeat them; it is time for serious examination. When your enemy begs: “…we hope the Democrats don’t forget their campaign promises…” (to run away); you have to wonder about the names on the absentee ballots sent from overseas. George McGovern is stating his recommendations for a quick withdrawal and he is going to start pushing Democrats to pull the “Murtha Option”. He doesn’t give a damn about Iraq (as he gave no care to Vietnam). Murtha says: “Victory is not a strategy” and it is that mentality that loses wars. He says: “Winning is not a strategy.” And that mentality is what emboldens our enemies to continue fighting. America is going to fall backwards onto its own sword; defeated, shamed and eventually diplomatically powerless through democrat policies of appeasement and cowardice. So the United States is now pointed in a “New Direction”. Instead of wanting to destroy and defeat terrorism we now want to turn our backs on what Pelosi calls “a situation”. The democrats have other investigations planned and they are building a larger chopping block axe. They believe they’ve already lopped off Rumsfeld (while I believe Rumsfeld resigned because he wasn’t about to work with stupid and defeatist democrats) and they are working hard to lop off Rove, Rice, Cheney, Bolton and any other valuable members of America’s foreign relations team to further weaken America to the point that the supportive coalition that had been built, crumbles completely. The “New Direction” is not a direction that will gain America anything. The point was made that the Republicans lost because they permitted Democrats to drag the country too far into the leftist idealism contained in expansive government, becoming the teat we all can safely suck upon. The other point is that many Democrats ran as conservatives mimicking conservative values that they have no intention of adhering to. Republican conservatives failed to maintain conservatism by compromising with the left. They lost their seats to the voter hope that Democrats would be faithful to their conservative promises. That is a lost hope. Government will get even larger, taxes will increase, the war will be lost, and our enemies will laugh and rejoice. The point is Harry Reid is interviewed and his code term “Congressional oversight” means that the next two years will find the new Democrat majority conducting criminal investigations in an effort to completely destroy every possible Republican. They need to do that to solidify and spread what little power they’ve gained in preparation for 2008. Reid calls for “oversight” because the Democrats failed to oversight anything for the past 6 years of the Bush Administration. For 6 years they sat on their hands and now when they think they can secure the next presidential election they talk oversight and cooperation. Where the hell was Democrat “cooperation” for the past 6 years? It’s all crap.
