Nov. 9, 2006 The days before faith are lost days. Before faith the unbeliever talks and walks in the world; much of the world understands his ways and his means because much of the world will identify with the darkness that resides in the soul of the unbeliever. Each day is similar to awaking in the dark without the light to guide the steps. Most decisions are made and carried out based on feelings or emotions. There is some logic, but logic isn’t the main driver to action. The guides that are available before faith are called “science” or “history” and the mistakes of theory or history apart from faith are often repeated. The unbeliever fails in many things while succeeding in a few. With the success of sin over the rules of faith unbelievers think they have power that they do not have. They deal in abortion, cloning, infanticide or murder and call it progress of the ideology of humanism. But the unbeliever is largely ignorant. Without faith it is impossible to please God. There surely is a God and he is known, but not by the unfaithful. The unfaithful cannot know God. The unfaithful cannot stand before the one in faith. There is too much light. The unbeliever prefers the darkness. Every day before faith is a day lost in sin. Every day before faith is a gamble of the soul to its possible loss. Every day before faith is a day in darkness with no spiritual hope of a salvation through resurrection. Then there are the ones of faith. They are too meek to chase the unbeliever. It would do no good to do that anyway. God is the arbiter of faith. He is the distributor of faith. He is the giver of gifts. God sent his greatest gift to men and men stared at the gift, uncomprehending and dumbfounded. Men still stare at the gift; fully seeing his power and authority over their unsaved lives even as they turn away in their incomprehension. The believer can no longer understand. He is no longer recognized by the world. He doesn’t belong here and he isn’t understood by those walking in their darkness without their flashlights. The believer is the light. The believer does not conserve his energy, but he pours out as much of himself as possible to lighten the path for those walking in the dark. He speaks his word in season. He does not argue through vanity, but he explains through truth. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and exclaim the glory of God Almighty. ------------ Email Skip: skiptoomaloo@hotmail.com Comment on this article here! ------------ All articles are EXCLUSIVE to Useless-Knowledge.com.
