Nov. 2, 2006 What did John Kerry mean when he said his words were misinterpreted? I think that, in fact, his "apology" was another backhanded slap at the American military. So first they were stupid for being soldiers, now they're stupid for misunderstanding his speech. Kerry, for once, spoke quite plainly. So how could he have been misinterpreted or taken out of context? If I walk up to a man and call him a fatheaded idiot, I would think that I am being rather plain spoken. So how can I then claim, when the man is rightly offended, that he simply didn't understand what I said? I think the troops got what he said, and regardless of what you think of the Iraq mission our soldiers deserve better than the backhanded treatment of a half witted, pompous, Senator. Oops.. I don't want Kerry to misinterpret me. ....What will the Democrats do if they fail to win congress? I doubt that,if defeat does come, they will take it as an opportunity for introspection and set their house in order. No, one can not expect that from the party of socialism, treason, and collaboration with the enemy. We can expect more wild conspiracy theories,such as road blocks preventing Democrats from voting, and more unveiled hatred at everything the Democrats are against. They will console themselves with more fantasies of killing President Bush, or getting their puppets in the mainstream media to make them look like American heroes. ..if President Bush is so stupid how has he defeated and outmanuevered the Democrats? The Charge is the President Bush lied to the nation to get them to approve military force against Iraq, which most Democrats did vote for. Reeling from the vote, for the last three years, the Democrats have to shift blame. So they blame the President, insisting that they were innocent dupes, and not to blame. But it takes a man of some intelligence to tell a convincing lie, and innocent dupes-while innocent- usually aren't all that bright. So, if the President did indeed lie(which he didn't) then it means the Democrats are stupid enough to fall for it. And this is the Party many Americans want to be in control of congress? I have a feeling that todays Democrats will be anti war until this war is over. Just like their predecessors during the cold war, who felt communism didn't constitute a real threat, many were fellow travelers who admired the USSR. But when the wall came down, and the brutalities of communism could no longer be denied, the democrats suddenly rewrote history to turn themselves into crusaders against Stalinism. When Bin Ladenism is on the ash heap of history and the terrorists in their graves they so richly deserve all these Senators will be talking about how much they were in favor of the war and how proud they are of their Iraq vote. But until the war is fought and won the Democrats will continue to be a fifth column. ...If the left will ever apologize for romanticizing a brutal theocratic force that seeks to kill millions of innocent people? The Islamists, hate women, in fact the Mufti of Austrailia told his congregation the Muslim men have the right to rape any woman that is not wearing a veil. Wonder where the feminists are on that one? The Islamists aren't big fans of secuarlism. I doubt that anyone on the left would have the courage to sue Muslims about displays of religion on public ground. The Islamists aren't big on gay rights. Most Americans simply want to prevent homosexual relationships to be called marriage, Islamists take homosexuals out and execute them. Islamists don't particuarly like democracy.( But then again I don't think the left does either. For them it is just a means to an end.) The left hates the United States so much, and Western Civilization, that it is willing to make common cause with a reactionary movement that is against everything they are for. No, to the left the terrorists are American conservatives who want to fight the terrorists.
