May 25, 2006 A country ruled by unelected sociopaths threatens the worlds Jewish population, it frantically arms itself in open defiance of treaties, forces some of its people to wear badges identifying themselves as minorities. No, this isn't Germany 1938 it's Iran 2006. Although there really isn't much difference between the two. Oh, I know. The former was ruled by a dictator obsessed with racialism and the creation of a thousand year reich. While the latter is ruled by Islamic screwballs obsessed with bringing about an Islamic empire, and with messianic Islam. Different words, same actions. Recently, while taking a break from their "peaceful" energy pursuits and threats to wipe Isreal off the face of the Earth(How will the do that with only Peaceful nuclear energy?) they took time to reach back in time to announce that non muslims would have to wear an identifying badge. No wonder Mein Kampf is such a big seller in the Islamic world. The Taliban had a similar policy for its tiny Hndu and Sikh popu.ation, well until the U.S. military put them on the funeral pyre of history. Of coures Naziesque domestic policies aren't the only thing the Islamic Republic is up to. Through their puppet Muqtada al-Sadr, and others like him, the seek to destabilize a democratically elected government in Iraq. Through Hezbollah, a terrorist organization owned and operated by Iran, they control parts of Lebanon and threaten to plunge the country back into civil war by being the only armed group that has refused to disarm. After all there are Jews to kill in Israel and Christians to kill in Lebanon. Who has time for peace? So what is the worlds response to this maniacal regime? Well, we're getting awfully close to convening a meeting that will look into the veracity of threatening to impose sanctions. What a relief. Good thing the world bureacracy knows how to keep the world running. Now back to reality. The Russians and the Europeans would sell their grandmothers into slavery and their daughters into a harem for an oil deal, and the Chinese are mainly enjoying the chaos from the sidelines, not to mention making a little money out of this. So while there is nothing coming out of the UN Iran races to build nuclear weapons and make themselves impossible to remove. Iran threatens to wipe out a soverign nation, and believes that either the Nazi genocide was a myth or that it didn't go far enough and the world yawns in response. After all American idol was on. The regime is hated by about 75% of the Iranian people, and what do we do? Oh we might set up a Farsi radio station, which Tehran will easily block and will accomplish nothing. If we let it be known that we will support a pro democracy uprising (and arm one as well) the regime would not survive.
