May 21, 2006 The “Insurgent” is a University of Oregon sanctioned student publication considered “alternative” I suppose as in “alterative lifestyle”. In academia’s latest adventure of beginning “dialog” the “Insurgent” published a Christian “hit-piece” and included cartoons depicting degrading and derogatory images of a homosexual nature against the Christian God. This affront to Christians was permitted as a matter of free speech. So I guess it is okay to find every homosexual icon that the sexually perverse label a “role model” and find some way to soak it in urine and cover it with elephant dung. Although reciprocity against “alternatives” is probably the last thing we’ll see from something titled “Insurgent”. Modern American Academia! What a wonder! The likes of Ward Churchill (found a fraud), and Yale University, admitting Taliban terrorists to matriculate are just the latest in a series of “Fractured Fairy Tales” perpetrated on the minds of the willingly misled and unabashedly liberal elitists. Academia has become boring in their continual “Bush Bashing”. The latest round of razzing against Sen. John McCain was directed at his positions on the Right for battling terrorism and gay marriage (another form of terrorism) and abortion (the ultimate form of terrorism). Of course we could equally find a lack of credibility in Senator McCain for his support against freedom of speech (McCain-Feingold) and his support of special forms of “amnesty” for illegal aliens. So McCain is darned if he’s left and darned if he’s right. Darn it! I personally believe that Al Gore and Bill Clinton; maybe Jimmy Carter and Howard Dean should be the only university commencement speakers ever permitted to address modern graduation ceremonies. That would probably end the relentless prattle being spewed by those who want “free speech” for them while shutting out all other forms of debate. But pro-gay rants about the Christian God and unproven junk-science documentaries about how “global warming” will destroy the earth in ten years (after it was supposed to have already been destroyed ten years ago) is becoming about the limit of what 4 years of outrageous tuition fees will get you on American campuses anymore. I say it is a good thing that President Bush isn’t running again. It is a pleasure to see the left throwing candidate material at him as if it meant anything. I read an opinion piece the other day by some liberal puke bemoaning the fact that Clinton couldn’t run for a third term because of some lousy 22nd amendment to the constitution. Poor Guy! I thought he was having an apoplexy! But that is liberalism. Kill the First Amendment with the likes of McCain-Feingold. Attack the second amendment enough to where only the criminal element of society can have guns. Attack the 22nd amendment so the next democrat stooge that manages to get elected can (like Hugo Chavez) declare himself “El Presidente” for life! Liberal education in America has given us sex education for K-4, free condoms from school nurses, more teachers seducing young students, the joys of homosexual and trans-gender relations, the need to “understand” terrorist enemies, and the need to condemn the intolerance of sexual immorality and conservative thought. Conservatism has been complicit. This is a two party country and it always takes the combination of two to find some way to compromise away what is best for the nation and society. Two parties raised taxes. Two parties raised their own salaries. Two parties eat pork like it is the only meat left. Morals, ethics and common sense have left the building. The only things remaining are rhetoric, corruption and liberal insanity.
