May 10, 2006 An atheist is someone who is a non believer, my synonyms in spell check says so.. If we are free to choose what we do not and do believe in then what is the problem? It would seem that the closer we are to death the closer we are to God. The earliest religion known to man would be the monotheism religion. Way back in early Egyptian times they did indeed believe in one God not many as did Greek mythology. This leads me to believe that over time, other religions were born. Now we have thousands of new religions and for what reason other then monetary. The believer of the one God Theory will argue tooth and nail for their God leaving a closed mind which benefits no one except themselves. If you read the Old Testament, it would have you believe that Adam and Eve started the whole damn world and by the third page thousands were walking on this earth, now that was one busy couple. What they should have been credited with was the single name usage. I guess we can rest assured that once they started to have these children to populate the earth then the first generations would have to be incest victims. Atheists would put up a great fight for their cause but are these modern day thinkers really non believers? Ask these people when they hit their hand with a hammer or are in a tight spot, who they ask for help, I'll wait, ask them. Better yet don't ask, wars have been started over lesser subjects. Jesus walked the earth spreading the word the best he could and died for his beliefs so fanatics of the cause can rest assured that 89 percent of the world is aware of that fact. When a so called born again approached me and said "One day if you do not be like me millions of people will just disappear and you will be wondering where we all went." I looked at him and replied "Yeah, that's called death." He was astounded and said "I can't convert you, you know too much." I just told him that I knew nothing and that should prove to you that weak minds follow weaker religions." He walked away and this friend who became born again from a street preacher and a homeless one I might add never to be seen again. "Wow" I thought, "he did disappear." God should be the only one we have to answer to in this world or the next. Man is just way out of control this time. We need not go into his man made house built in the name of religion. Long ago we offered lambs and our first born, now it is all about money. Many versions of the bible have been put out there for many to misinterpret. The Ten Commandments were etched in stone to keep humans on the road to goodness. If you follow these ten simple rules you will make life easier for all walks of life. I do think these ideals should be upgraded and some new commandments should be set fourth hear and now so allow me to put these ten and new commandments in easier terms so even the best simpleton could understand. Don't think of praying to any other Gods or else. Done make up any other Gods or else. Don't be dissing your mother or her baby's daddy. Don't be visiting your neighbor's house when he isn't home to do his baby's momma. Don't borrow things and never return them. Don't go out snuffing anyone. No fibbing. Now for the new ones I think we should add. Don't be stupid. Don't drive slowly in the fast lane. Don't listen to anyone that tells you "It's a sure thing" Don't think you are any better then anyone else, do not be a jerk and last but least never wear vertical strips, this doesn't make fat people look thin just foolish. If you think hell is not so bad go to Orlando in the peak season. My points to these mindless ramblings are simple, just go through life happy. It is a short one and we have to make the most of it. If we become obsessed with one thing we are wasting the only life we have that is unless you believe you are coming back as someone else.
