May. 8, 2006 I have written a lot of articles about Natalee Holloway and I have worked with some wonderful people to help find answers to what happened to her. Unfortunately, we have found none that prove conclusive and even worse, we have not found Natalee. As the anniversary date approaches the memories of Natalee Holloway do NOT grow dim. No matter how much people lie and cover up the truth of what happened to her, her memory will NOT grow dim. Most of that is because her mother, Beth, won't allow it to happen and her dad, Dave continues to speak out and keep her in the minds of the public. There are other's who have kept Natalee alive and they deserve to be mentioned. Some of you know who they are and some of you don't so I will mention them by first name only. Michelle, Frank, Art, Joe M., John Q., Susan, Debbie, Don, and the rest of the Team who work tirelessly to find answers and to my friend Pat Hurley, who you all know, have never let the side down and will continue to pledge their time and efforts toward finding out what happened to Natalee Holloway a year ago. I also want to thank the Editor of Useless Knowledge Magazine for continuing to post my articles and to the many of you who have emailed me with supportive words. You haven't given up either and it has made this painful search much easier. There is no need to name those who can't find it in their hearts to feel any compassion for Natalee and her family because they have shown themselves for what they are and they will have to live with themselves. I only hope that none of them ever suffer the nightmarish hell that Natalee's family has gone through. There have been no new arrests and no new leads in this case and it has been quiet for the past couple of weeks. Aruba goes on and hopes that it's now tarnished reputation will eventually be restored and people like Julia Renfro will continue to manufacture false clues and facts to suit their own personal needs and business goals. Aruba will never be the same and Natalee's family will never be the same due to the events that transpired almost one year ago. The lies will remain the lies and the truth remains hidden no matter how much relief it could bring to a grieving family. I want that family to know that those of us who are dedicated to continuing to find answers will not stop and that the anniversary of Natalee's disappearance will not slow us down or prevent us from standing by your side. You will always have support and we will always be here to offer comfort and ideas and time. It has been a year of dashed hopes, false starts and utter misery for Beth and Dave and they have little to show for the pain that they have suffered. What we as their friends and support system can offer is what we promised so many months ago...and if that can bring them any comfort it is all that we can hope for until the truth is uncovered and someone can bring Natalee home where she belongs.
