![]() By Allen Robinski Mar. 29, 2006 My friend Pat Hurley and myself had an E-mail discussion on LSU Vs Duke in the basketball pre-final 4. Pat said that Duke would beat LSU. I agreed with him due to the fact that LSU had not been to the final four in 20 years and had troubles winning the big ones. Well, we were both wrong, LSU beat Duke. Now they have won the second match in overtime. That was too close. I wonder if that was an indication ????. I would like to see LSU go all the way, But Pat's "California" team,(I don't say the team name, it may cause LSU bad luck), is a powerhouse and LSU certainly will have a battle on their hands. I am not going to predict who will be the national champs. That way I can always tell Pat I knew that team would be the champions. Of course I know Pat would laugh at that. He now knows tho, that "satan" will not be in the hunt. Pat, I am ready for you to give us the final prediction as of now. I promise I will not hold it against you if you are wrong. Even I lost on the LSU/Duke matchup. ------------ About the author Allen Robinski: Linguistics expert Dr Joan Beal says the highlighting of errors is often used as a way to undermine a writer's otherwise valid argument.
