Mar. 19, 2006 Although this idea probably sounds silly, this morning I woke up with the idea of making Useless Knowledge Magazine my personal dream journal. Before that, in my dream I was writing a long essay to a philosophy professor whom I know fairly well. The contents of that paper are now forgotten. Before that I was romping in a dream with Mah Little White Shtoh Vera Cat. Even when I'm wide awake I'm often uncommonly silly and playful with that particular cat. I don't have a very good memory for my dreams, and I don't have a very good memory in general. I do recall, however, that yesterday I wrote two papers, revised a third, and wrote three letters. I also watched two videos on the Zapatistas' heroic struggle in Southern Mexico. I will probably watch more videos today. Presently I correspond online with several persons who are more or less interested in the subject of human brain integration. I bring up the topic from time to time. What is human brain integration? You ask. Well, suffice it to say that human brain integration is not human brain differentiation. Human brain differentiation includes breaking the activity in the brain up into nameable talents and devotions plus ranking people on an IQ scale from fifty points or less up to two hundred points or more. Human brain differentiation includes calling certain people “genius” and certain people “idiot.” Human brain integration is radically different from human brain differentiation and complements the intelligence of even the best verbalizers. Human brain integration involves the addition of all talents and devotions in the brain into one uproarious undifferentiated multitudinous nameless whole devotion, at least part of the time. To use a word that Mary Poppins is known to have used, human brain integration is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Furthermore, with brain integration the activated and integrated human brain sees light because the human brain has a natural capacity to process neuro-electrical activity in the optical cortex as light. For similar reasons the active and integrated human brain also hears a sound in the stimulated audio cortex and tastes a taste in the stimulated olfactory lobe and knows this as unity or cosmic consciousness or samadhi or satori or whatever and eventually discontinues this integration in order to effectively deal with wordy sociable people and other important matters such as eating, defecating, driving a car, and paying taxes on time. All that is "hallucinated" is witnessed because of all the extraordinary neuro-electrical activity going on inside the integrated human brain. Integrated brain life is a series of breaths, in/out, in/out, in/out, etc, or in/dis, in/dis, in/dis etc with bursts of synaesthesia followed by bursts of quiet darkness and silence. It may be that to some people this particular rush of articulated prose reads inflated, conflated, vapid, vague, mystical, and irrelevant. The reason why is perhaps because brain integration was not and is not taught in homes or in schools. What is taught in school these days is mainly increasingly refined wordiness and increasingly refined numerical calculation, as in numerically defining the square root of twenty-three raised to the three hundred and eighteenth power. For some people this exercise is both exciting and easy. For non-prestidigitators or persons who do not have computers, however it isn't a realistic endeavor. Jumping back to the subject of Useless Knowledge magazine, there are some very well-educated people reading Useless Knowledge Magazine and there are some very well-educated people writing for Useless Knowledge Magazine. I can't correspond with all of these people because it takes me at least half an hour to compose even a short letter that has any rigor to it. For example, answering just one paragraph from U-K columnist Thomas Keyes often takes me a day or two. Jumping again in a manner that irritates some linear thinkers, you need to be aware that the "Divine Light" described by Mother Meera and her witnesses is somewhat disabling and chaotizing to the linear rational verbal intellect. Moreover I know that a lot of Useless Knowledge Magazine writers and readers treasure their own nonchaotized linear rational verbal intellects! However I think that you can understand that the integrated human brain is compatible with and can argue quite cogently on behalf of the nonlinear thinking process as well as on the "Divine Light" that radiates from Mother Meera and other luminous numinous persons who are sometimes referred to as “spiritual.” There's an ongoing debate on Useless Knowledge Magazine and on other Internet forums, a debate about the reality and the utility of certain numinous perceptions and related brain activities that don't get encouraged at school. Even so, quite a few children (who in the olden times were sometimes called "Divine") are subject to episodes of chaotic brain activity that has something to do with brain integration and attunement to the cosmos. (After all, the natural world is often chaotic and nonlinear.) Today medical doctors may be called in to treat the chaotic unpredictable child but the medical doctors themselves haven't yet studied human brain integration, so they don't readily see atypical children as the advance guard in human brain evolution. Instead, the medical doctors see these children as "defective" or "diseased." When Jiddu Krishnamurti and Mother Meera were children, they were extraordinary in quite the same “spiritual” way. Because he paid little attention to the teacher and the lesson, the young J. Krishnamurti was beaten with a cane each and every day at school. Such "Divine" school children today are considered hyperactive or autistic or schizophrenic, and they often are medicated daily. Such medication doesn’t make the brain integrate, however. Dreaming is a part of integrated human brain activity and the integrated human brain is working hard even while the person is asleep! Many people find that their dreams help them solve a problem and so they keep a dream journal that often becomes their personal journal or their blog. People then can share their ongoing brain activity online as they share their music, their art, and their other creations online with their blog buddies. For example at U-K columnist Steve Dayton has shared some of his technological creations. Way to go, Dave! Many fans of Mother Meera share their enthusiasm for her radiance online. Brain integration brings humanity understanding of both Mother Meera’s radiance and the method of science. Imagine if you can, a time not so long from now when science and spirituality have integrated and fused. Imagine a world of transformed cities, with a New Los Angeles, a New Mexico City, a New Jerusalem and a New Baghdad, transformed cities in which many thousands of children each day learn how to integrate their brains and experience the daily rhythm of in/dis, in/dis, in/dis, etcetera, with the help of adult teachers who are already well integrated. In these new cities as in other new cities around the world, there are large numbers of integrated adults who bless hundreds of people each day in the same way that Mother Meera blesses so many people today. To bring in this long-awaited MESSIANIC society of everyone's attunement is relatively easy once people have become really interested in the integrated human brain, and further research on brain integration is supported by the intellectual elite MDs and PhDs. I already have several strong letters of recommendation from full professors, but I've not yet interested any medical research scientists in my project of measuring and otherwise studying what Swami Rudrananda often called "yogic force." If the word "force" gets your dander up, call it "ding" instead. Mother Meera projects a lot of ding, as did Swami Muktananda. Moreover, lots of other dings project a lot of ding. Here’s one final idea. The reason why making Useless Knowledge Magazine my personal dream journal is that I have a lot to do and it has taken me more than six hours to compose this article, revise it once, and then revise it again, and make sure that all the little html marks are in the right place and there are no more dings in it. I goofed with the little html marks on my previous U-K article. There are doubtless still flaws in this piece. Even so, it would be good for me to make Useless-Knowledge my dream journal at least for a month. But I think that might result in some insult. Such free and loose articles would likely put some dings on the U-K editor's shining reputation. When the brain is dreaming, lots of sensations, ideas, and dingbat expressions come out that the vigilant wakeful brain suppresses; expressions like “Ding Salaam” for example. Yes, and if sometimes I make up a word, or combine words in a most delightful way because a spoonful of sugar makes the medicine go down, well, Mary Poppins did the same things and she was a very popular and successful teacher. And now, in closing, Ding Salaam Hashem El Mazahs (also sometimes known as GREEN FROG) salutes you.
