 By Ken Hughes Mar. 8, 2006 For nearly three years I’ve been vilified for my poor grammar and misspelled words. Now we learn Diva [extraordinar] Ms. Streisand can’t spell for crap either. She sings like a Meadowlark, spells like a groundhog, [no offence intended groundhogs.] Barbra Streisand it seems is blaming everyone but Punxsutawney Phil for her errors of spelling. She made 11 errors in one essay, 4 in one sentence explaining George Bush was a “C” student. What is it they say “It takes one to know one?” As I recall Ms. Streisand was a high school dropout, leaving to peruse her singing career on Broadway. George Bush on the other hand is the only president ever elected with an MBA from the Harvard School of Business. Not only can’t Ms. Streisand spell she can’t tell the truth either. Ms. Streisand’s blog has several articles questioning or rather explaining her version of several of the president’s statements since 9/11. Her accusations aren’t new they come straight out of the Democratic talking points hand book. Ms. Streisand states President Bush lied when he said Saddam had WMD’s. It wasn’t George Bush who said Saddam had WMD’s it was the UN and every intelligence agency in the free world who said Iraq had them. Ms. Streisand further states Bush lied when he said Iraq could avoid war by having Saddam step down and leave the country. This is another of Ms. Streisand’s disinformation rants. Surrender was in fact on the table for Saddam to consider as an option. The build up to the second Iraqi war took months of negations with the UN and our own Congress before overwhelming approval was given by all parties, something Ms. Streisand omits in her blog. Ms. Streisand prefers to lay the blame of terrorism on Muslims as opposed to terrorists and their enablers. It’s Ms. Streisand and her ilk who offer encouragement to the terrorists. Anyone who doesn’t have a solid block of hardwood between their ears knows the terrorists must be defeated at any cost if the world is ever to live in peace. Ms. Streisand and her ilk live in splendor afforded them by those who’re willing to lay down their lives to keep the barbarians on the other side of the mote. We call them the United States Military, many don’t respect them enough, support them enough and pay them nearly enough to fight and die for the security of the Streisand’s of the world. Liberals, [I hate to equate then to Democrats] have a perceived vision of what the new world should look like. In their view it should be ruled by the Intelligencia, the common man and woman has no place making decisions on their own behalf. Those in charge, [the elite thinkers] will provide equally for those who’re not in charge. Every segment of the public’s lives would be controlled in a fair and balanced way giving each equal access to life’s bounties. Didn’t someone try that a few decades ago? Wasn’t it called Communism? Didn’t the very people it was designed to protect bring it down because it failed to meet the people’s needs and wants? Liberalism, Communism, and Terrorism are all children of the same Devil. All three are committed to the elimination of mans freedoms as we know them substituting their own will over the public. It’s comforting to know those on the left, those in the middle and those who stand beside me on the right can be as inaccurate grammatically as I’m accused of being.
