July 21, 2006 “If you don’t build it they will come.” Is the thought against a recent report that the U.S. Congress did not vote to fund the 370 miles of fencing they mandated in the recent immigration reform bill. How do you vote FOR a fence, then vote AGAINST the money? Was that the will of the people? The United States is not “One Nation Under God Indivisible…; nor is there “Liberty and Justice For All”. All liberty and justice now belongs to the nation’s minorities the Kennedy’s and the terrorists being held in Guantanamo, Cuba according to the ACLU and the U.S. Supreme Court. The United States is becoming one nation acting as god: “One Nation Under Liberalism Divided and Disconnected”. Wuz all so thinkin uhbout duh recent news paper report uhbout letting kidz spel ennyway dey felt gud uhbout spellin. Eye don’t think itz ah very gud eyedea; doo u? It is a good thing that Israel has finally reached the breaking point against terrorism. The Palestinian election of a terrorist group to lead their State is tacit proof that Islamic radicals will be who they will be. A lion will always be a lion and a radically religious pig will always be the other white meat. The remaining few months of the 2006 election cycle will be dirty, vile, mean-spirited and uncivilized, and that’s just from Hillary Clinton. Who was it that correctly observed: “It is a natural fact that all those in favor of abortion have already been born”? If you answered “Patrick Hurley” you would be correct. Ten more guys allegedly raped an 11-year-old girl and I still believe that is a result of liberalism’s “If the gloves don’t fit” defense. I’m sure the ACLU will find some way to blame the 11-year-old. A new documentary that no liberal will go to see because it wasn’t “jury-rigged” by Michael Moore, “Obsession” explains the radicalism inbred into Islamic thought processes and the unity between the Nazis and the Islamists who desired only the complete annihilation of all things Jewish. I am sure the resident Useless-Knowledge anti-Semites, among others, will discuss their views of the film from Michael Moore’s perspective. President Bush agreed to visit this year’s NAACP convention. He had rejected invitations over the past 5 years because of the continuous anti-Bush diatribes of Julian Bond and his more extreme backers. One does not intentionally walk into a situation where you life is in jeopardy and from the rhetoric that preceded each of the past NAACP conventions it was apparent the Secret Service could not insure the safety of the President in the previous convention venues. This year’s convention was only a mile down the street from the White House. That was close enough should reinforcements had been necessary to protect a President that is truly despised by the NAACP membership. I was interested to read that the President was allowed to speak before being heckled by any of the attendees. I was also interested to see what was said before and after the President spoke was less harsh than the rhetoric spoken at the Coretta King Memorial service. It wasn’t quite a tone of reconciliation but neither was it some superficial diatribe from a group that’s been nothing but hostile toward the Bush Administration from the very first day of its existence. We’ll see if any type of reconciliation is in the offing from the NAACP toward the Bush Administration. Get out and vote this year. Register and vote. Vote Green, Conservative, Independent or liberal, but get off your opinionated rear-end and make your opinion count in someone’s ballot box. Iraqis risk death to stand in a line to vote for local political representation. Americans take democracy so much for granted that fewer than 50 percent of eligible voters go to the polls. In mid-term elections the percentage is even lower. That means that fewer than half the U.S. population keeps liberals like Kennedy, Kerry, Clinton and Pelosi on the Sunday morning Bush-bash shows. I would love nothing better than to see Clinton lose her Senate seat in November; being replaced by some Green-Party liberal.
