July 3, 2006 http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/07/01/jolie.pitt.camera.ap/index.html Obviously pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's new daughter are a matter of national security. To utilize government agencies to seize a camera and spend tax payer dollars to assure that the photos of their child are protected from public use is so important and essential to the security of the world that the resources which SHOULD be used for more important things (like tracking terrorists, etc) are being wasted on this couple and their baby. I guess I missed the memo that read that the Jolie-Pitt child was the ONLY baby born this year; the ONLY baby that requires such vigilance and extreme measures to insure her privacy. Could this child possibly be the second coming? Should we begin a religion dedicated to this latest Jolie-Pitt production? Her name does mean "Messiah" and "New". Or could it be that her parents were not paid for the pictures on this particular camera? I also have been reading headlines that state: "Where is Suri Cruise??" Is this yet another child who is so blessed and so important to society that reams of paper have been used to announce every step of her mother's pregnancy, her birth and the hunt for her first photograph? Perhaps she's being kept on one of her daddy's space ships until her brain-washing is complete? I looked up some statistics and found that several million babies were born so far this year and yet none of them has been afforded the press coverage, government resources of an entire nation (Namibia) or the public's insatiable need for a glimpse at the "Most beautiful child in the world" . I saw the kid's pictures on the cover of "People" and she was cute. Turned up nose, sweet little face....a typical cute new baby. I saw no halo nor did I see a light emanating from her body. I noticed no special qualities that would qualify this child as the ONLY important baby born in 2006. I also noticed that her mother is covered with tattoos and that her father seems to have changed from an actor to a man who follows a few paces behind his girlfriend, usually with a child attached to his hip. They wander from airport to airport, country to country and they are worshipped and adored wherever they go. The mother, who once wore a vial of her ex-husband's blood on a chain around her neck, engaged in self-proclaimed kinky sex with members of both the female and male species, made out with her biological brother in public and cut herself to enhance sexual pleasure is now a regular Madonna. She is the so-called example of what a woman should be and is rewarded for her good works worldwide. The father is a rather dull actor who hasn't really done anything terribly memorable in his film career except to look pretty and who dumped his former wife for the Madonna that he met while filming, He is now also considered a great humanitarian by virtue of his association with his new girlfriend. What in the world is wrong with a society who worships people like this? They are beautiful and they have contributed large sums of money to foreign nations in need but they seem to have forgotten the very country that made them notable, rich and famous. Are there no worthy orphans in the United States (parent country to Brad and Angie)? Do we have no suffering or poverty here? If the government needs reasons to expend it's already gutted resources I could make a few good suggestions and none of them would include wasting one dime on protecting Brad, Angelina, Tom, Katie or any one else of their ilk. They all have a virtual army of security people surrounding them so why do they need the police of some community or the Secret Service to waste time making sure that their offspring don't have their pictures in a public venue? Perhaps because they are paid exorbitant sums of money for releasing those pictures? Four million and counting for the Jolie-Pitt baby and offers nearly as high for Suri Cruise? It has been written that a lot of that money is being donated to various charities and that's always a good thing...but are any of those charities in the country that MADE those people who and what they are? I guess they never heard of the saying "Charity begins at home", nor do they care if there are babies who have no healthcare or regular meals here in America. Do they even know that there are children of all ages living on the streets and that a few million would go a long way toward helping them.? I am empathetic to the poor people of Africa and elsewhere where poverty is the norm and I would certainly like to see them improve their lives, but; I also can see with my own eyes that we have a few problems here in America and it would be nice if Americans were to contribute to helping make our own country safe for children. It would be even nicer if people with the ridiculous incomes that are paid to the Jolie-Pitts would focus on their own backyard once in awhile. Come on Brangelina........take a look outside of your beautifully landscaped, highly secured backyard and help some American children next time. I don't consider you humanitarian for ignoring your own people.
