July 3, 2006 From “The Grapevine” on Fox news from Brit Hume come two reports. Report One: “The University of Wisconsin is launching a review of a professor who teaches that the U.S. government planned the 9/11 terror attacks to start a war between Christians and Muslims.” “Cultural folklore professor Kevin Barrett is the co-founder of a 9/11-conspiracy group, and urges members of the two faiths to overcome their belief that terrorists were behind the attacks. The university launched an investigation after Barrett told a conservative radio show that he shares his views on 9/11 in the classroom, prompting some state lawmakers to call for Barrett's immediate dismissal.” I understand Professor Barrett is bucking for the “Ward Churchill Award for Academic Inanity”. How can anyone read something like that and not see there is something drastically wrong with the thought processes of University educators? It is incredible to me that after years of investigation; countless investigations into the investigations and investigations of those who investigated the investigators of those investigations (some of which are still ongoing investigations), that another university professor (a “co-founder of a 9/ll conspiracy group) espouses such inane tripe in a classroom reserved for “higher” learning! I am aghast and befuddled at the folderol and blabber-mouth-ery of those charged with teaching the “Cultural folklore” of America to young and impressionable minds that may have skipped their California high school exit exams! EGAD! And ARGH! Who are these educational “freakoids” who have assumed the mantle of selective intelligence over the children who will be the future leaders of the world? The “holocaust” never happened; the WTO was full of Nazis; and now the American government planned the 9/11 event. These are the same people that want you to vote Democrat in November! Report Two: “Civil liberties groups are suing to force a West Virginia high school to remove a painting of Jesus that has hung in the halls for more than 30 years. The ACLU and Americans United for Separation of Church and State filed the suit in federal court on behalf of two parents, who say the painting sends the message that Bridgeport High School endorses Christianity as its official religion.” “Defiant school board members are holding out hope for the painting, but Americans United Director Barry Lynn calls the case "pretty clear," saying, "I frankly cannot understand why this school insists that it is doing nothing wrong." This is just more anti-religious insanity from our friends at the ACLU and AUSCS who think that all things Christian (including Christians) should be relegated to closets or bonfires. This painting has hung in the corridor of this school for almost 40 years and just now it becomes an issue because some legal clown wants face time on “The O’Reilly Factor”. Here’s the defense. That is not a picture of Jesus. It is an artist’s portrayal of a Jewish Rabbi having nothing to do with the Christian religion. Jesus never stood for a portrait and as far as anyone is concerned, the handsome depiction in the painting could not be Jesus, the Messiah of the Jews or the Christian God. The Scriptures are specific that Jesus “had no form or comeliness that we would desire him. (Isaiah 53)” That artist’s rendition must be that of some other Jewish lad named Joshua because the countenance is just too strikingly handsome. These “freakoid” parents who freak at the slightest mention of religion are a royal pain in the posterior. The school board will probably not fight the Anti Christian Liberty Union (ACLU) because they need their money to continue paying the anti-Christian NEA dues of their teaching staff. And yep, you guessed it! The rumor I am trying to start says the perpetually offended ones endorse Hillary for President and have suggested the disputed portrait be replaced with a portrait of Bill Clinton; their chosen god.
